Regarding the "fun police" bit RE:Harry Potter, there are, in fact, people who sincerely believe the entries featured in the HMS STFU are the intended Aesops of the series
. I wish I was joking.
In addition, several of the entries in question weren't just misinterpretations of canon, they actively contradicted it, such as the implication that "Muggle" was a slur.

Removed the Real Life Section. Even for Darth Wiki, it was getting Flame Baity and not fun. Reproduced below for posterity. Anyone feel strongly about putting it back?
- Discrimination in general: This group is always bad. You don't need to know why, you don't want to know why, and you must never question why.
- Political Correctness Gone Mad: You must never offend anyone. Ever.
- In fact, even if no one is ever actually offended, you must never say anything that could be taken as offensive by the very literal-minded.You also must provide "trigger warnings" for such controversial topics as sexuality in any form, violence ... and eating.
- I have the God-given right to be as abusive, offensive and cruel as I want to be to whomever I choose to be based on whatever facet of their identity, however minor, displeases or discomforts me, with no limits whatsoever. Anyone who tells me I am wrong to do so or takes offence at what I say is a fascist trampling over my right to be a bully.
- Zero tolerance policies and the War on Drugs:
- You must never, ever question the authority of a police officer or school teacher.
- Vigilante justice is good "if it saves one life".
- There is no difference between a guy casually bringing up threatening statements in a conversation (with no malicious intent whatsoever and no intention of following through) and a guy making threats with actual intent to kill. All must be taken seriously. And breaking the law in order to punish the former is perfectly justified.
- And the fact that the vast majority of school shooters make absolutely no threats whatsoever beforehand and attack completely without warning? What fact? Likewise, the fact that the vast majority of pedophiles and stalkers are someone the victim knows and that all those tips to protect your privacy on the Internet are mostly useless, as such? All lies!
- Of course if you want to not get the retribution of the zero-tolerence policy then you had to be the one who starts the troubles. If you bully the other kids then you simply just defend your place at the school's unoffical social hierarchy or is just a misunderstood victim of another kind of abuse. It's the bullied ones who have problems, because if they fight back then there is cleary something wrong with them which makes them unable to accept how everything work and so can starts more "problems" later.
- You and your family should be allowed to reside illegally and rent-free. The police that are doing their jobs are the bad guys, not you.
- If you're a police officer, don't use violence on black criminals because they're just misunderstood people who society had rejected and if you use violence anyway then you are in a world of shit.
- And if you must use a taser while being recorded, make sure the victim yells out something appropriately hilarious beforehand so the video of it goes viral.

I don't get the last one, I find Darth Wiki to be easier on my eyes than the usual blinding white of T Vtropes.
Is it just me, or did about 70% of this page turn into stupid bitchery about the work in question. Many examples (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts) became just biased attacks on the work. I feel a mass clean up is in order.
