Rogue Protagonist fits at least for one criteria.
Edited by chasemaddiganPerspective Flip is closer, but that looks like it's telling the same story from two different perspectives. In this context it would be a film called Out of Towner where Johnny has to deal with some new to town punk kid called LaRusso moving in on his ex-girlfriend who he still has feelings for , pushing Johnny into violent action to defend his rep only to find he's got a Badass Grandpa bodyguard.
Do we have this one? Contrasting Sequel Main Character, Contrasting Sequel Antagonist and Villain Protagonist don't seem to quite have a handle on it. The context is the TV series Cobra Kai. In The Karate Kid, Daniel is the protagonist and Johnny is the antagonist. The series has Johnny as the lead character and protagonist with Daniel as the antagonist. Is there a trope for this kind of role reversal in a sequel?
