When a musician is performing a concert, a big screen behind them shows the music videos for the songs being performed, as if the audience needs to be reminded what the video looks like in order to enjoy the song.
- In Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant 50th anniversary concert, clips from the film Alice's Restaurant play in the background paralleling the part of the song he's at.
- As seen on Youtube, when The Monkees were touring in the 90s and 00s, as they played songs the music videos from The Monkees would play in the background.
- During a "Music from The Simpsons" concert, when Nancy Cartwright comes out to sing "Do the Bartman" live, the music video plays in the background.
