Hi there, everyone. Sorry for being a dick on the wiki, it's been a while since I last did that but apparently sometimes rant-ish writing happens to re-surface.

As I promised to Septimus Heap, I'm posting here an excerpt from my response to his PM:

I'm surprised at how I posted an Italian example of Network Decay and, instead of it falling into obscurity and oblivion as I guessed, it's been near-immediately acknowledged. Of course, the fact I've linked to a DW item might have something to do with that.

It's been a while since the last time I made that kind of edits, so I can assure you that those rants were the results of "thoughtless frustration management" (so to speak) rather than my actual, improved, current style of writing*

. Of course, this is an explanation rather than a justification, so I give my apologies to the entire Troper community.

Also, last but not least, you might be wondering why I wrote the same rant under two different pages. The reason is actually pretty simple - I thought that subject counted as an example of both ND and AAG.

If you ever happen to see this kind of edits of mine again, you can have them Zapped on sight provided they're unquestionably and overly biased.

I'm posting this answer on ATT as a further apology to the community.

Good to know =). I had freaked out upon seeing those links there, hence why I had consulted it here. Anyway, keep up with the good work!

Alex, a better strategy would be for you to remember not to link things from the Darth Wiki or post things that are overly biased in the first place instead of giving us "permission" to zap them after the fact.

I'm no mod or anything, but I distinctly remember advising you in the past to, if you're about to link anything to Wallbanger, to not do it.

This wiki is not the place for your "frustration management," so in the future, if you're posting anything because you're frustrated, don't post. It will save us all a lot of time and energy that would have been spent correcting your mistakes.

You've done this before. I remember you doing it to several pages, repeatedly.

Mr Death... oh, yup, I remember the PM. Yep. But at least it's been a - relatively - long while since then. I hope not to do any further mistakes for an ever longer while, or maybe for good, but that'd be an unrealistic promise - people can avoid screwing up only for so long.

Also, I've noticed that the edits this ATT is about are still there. There's even an old, similar edit of mine in the Adored by the Network page, but I see it hasn't been deleted yet, so I guess that letting other people a chance to edit them would make them better, and would generally be more constructive.

Actually, if you know there is something wrong with an edit you made, the responsible thing to do is edit it to make it right rather than leave it for other people to clean up.
