I wanna see some animals for whom becoming a human is a step up. Like, a chinchillawere that wanted to see how the top of the food chain looks for a bit.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.That would be great. Bonus points if their human form is tiny and adorable.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertI don't understand how wolfweres etc. can work. Animals aren't sapient, so how can one 'decide' to turn into a human?
Magic.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.Mythology has a long tradition of sapient animals that extends into the modern day (see: any Disney work with an animal sidekick). In the Dresdenverse this is likely based on fact rather than fiction. Who knows, maybe in the Dresdenverse, the Tortoise and the Hare DID have a race, and Aesop was merely their literary agent.
Though knowing the Dresdenverse, it was an insane magic duel to the death between a pointy-eared Sidhe and a proto-White Council member who REALLY buffed up his defensive spells.

Well, we know some werewolves decided it would be fun to get it on while in wolf form. So, its possible that some werewolf in the past decided to get it on with actual wolves while in wolf form. The resulting offspring would probably be a wolfwere. Or you know since we know of one Loup Garou romantically involved with a wolfwere, it was one of them that kick started the wolfwere bloodline.
So, either inter-species shenanigans or some wolves just happen to be naturally magical.
... though if a loup garuo is what kickstarted a wolfwere bloodline, its entirely possible there's a garuo loup out there. So a wolf that every full moon turns into a rampaging vaguely human monster.
Click Click Boom BoomThat reminds me of Manwolf from Dragonball. He was a wolf Petting Zoo Person who turned fully human during the full moon. He hated Master Roshi (as Jackie Chun) for blowing up the moon, and thus trapping him in his petting zoo mode permanently (which made it hard to pick up chicks).
Man, Dragonball was a lot more fun than DBZ.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Dragonball was essentially about a fun romp through a parody pop culture and Journey To The West.
DBZ is about yellow hair dye and inflating man boobs.
You know, that would be pretty funny. A dog of some kind (I'm thinking pomeranian) that turns into the incredible Hulk on full moons.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I don't get it. Would that be a dog that gains enhance speed, strength and healing, a dog that shifts into a were-dog like creature or a dog that turns into a human during full moon?
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.A little lap dog that turns into Garm is possily what he means. Remember, in Dragon Ball, Goku turns into King Kong with the full moon.
So... All Saijins are Werekongs?
The last one. Specifically, the Hulk.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Besides what Kos said, there's all sorts of magical bullshit that could justify critters smarter than the average bear. There are uncountable legends about animal gods or spirits or whatever, there's the spirits that possess lycanthropes, and a character from Paranet Papers gets the Boss Subtitles "Dangerously Intelligent Panther."
You know, when I heard about Justine got pregnant, I imagines about the conversation of the baby names, which involved whole family (including The Carpenters).
Then Maggie mentioned one name, which belongs to a upperclassman, which are "cute, smart, strong, teachers like him, nice, knows everyhing" etc. etc.
Name of said upperclassman?
Or, when Maggie mentioned "Bella":
(awkward pause)
Harry: Ummm.... That's... good suggestion, Honey.
Maggie: (cutely pout)... What's wrong with Bella?
Michael: It's a... pretentious name, my dear.
Maggie: (cutely confused)
Dresden Daughter #2: It's a bimbo name.
(awkward pause again)
Maggie: (cutely, thoroughly confused) But how could Bella is a bimbo?
Harry: Uuuuh....
Maggie: Bella is awesome! She's beautiful, she loves to read, she's brave, she helps Beast although he is scary and a jerk....
Harry: OH! You mean 'Belle'!
Maggie: ...Um, yeah? Is that different?

And at some point Lara starts a PAC to name it "Lara Jr"?
"You can reply to this Message!"Immediately vetoed by everyone within hearing range.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.And now for the continuation:
It was a small, yet profound laugh.
I saw his looks on Maggie, and then something struck me.
Thomas was, always has this kind of quality of him, which makes him more, than mortals.
But when his eyes wandered on Maggie, you can almost see something that not more, something almost... normal.
Usually, it was manifested as loneliness or sadness.
But, for the first time in my life, I saw another thing.
I saw a genuine happiness.
I saw warmth.
I saw ...expectation.
I saw, as unlikely as it is, love.
And at that moment, I know. Not believe, I know. Despite everything else, despite Lara, despite Mab, despite The Council, I know. I know that Thomas, as unlikely as it was, will be the best father his child could ever hoped.
Well, he might never reach the Carpenter's level, but at least he would make a much, much better father than I could ever hoped.
I really want that YA series with Mouse and Maggie. I have a mighty need.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. Is the baby Harry's nephew or niece?
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherI want a spinoff with Ramirez and Harry's first love who hasn't been in the series so long that I forgot her name. :(

Elaine, and yeah I figured that be fun too.
"You can reply to this Message!"I'd love to see Thomas giving the Talk.
'...And make sure you love them because otherwise they'll die a horrible, horrible death and you'll become a soul-eating sex monster.'
Song of the SirensI wonder if Lara will take interest in this baby.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.
I'm still waiting to see more somethingweres, like Tara was.
Not that weregators and rage whamps and Koschei the Deathless aren't great.
