Mac users have so much trouble using the sling.tv app, it has almost become unusable.
Apparently, this was sung by a woman, Alana Bridgewater. That is one deep voice.
It's a little easier to tell that it's a woman's voice in this little clip, but still, that's really impressive.

Sublimely, satisfyingly, snarkily funny.
The state folk dance of Colorado, because we actually DO have one, is square dancing. I learned that at Tiny Town, which is Exactly What It Says on the Tin, a tiny town of miniature houses. This freaking thing has been destroyed by three floods, fallen into disrepair and abandoned twice (or maybe three times?), but keeps getting resurrected due to the Rule of Cute.
Stars are listed as real-life examples of Clipped-Wing Angel, and I find that really funny for some reason.

One of my local intersections has an alert system to let people know to clear the intersection for approaching emergency vehicles.
That's freaking cool, and I wish my town had those when I was an EMT. Driving an ambulance with lights and sirens is scary.
New factoid for me: Bes was an Egyptian god of dance, music and sex, but more importantly, protector of the home, children, women and childbirth. 12/10 would worship

One of my friends is responsible for saving a "flying saucer" mid century modern building in St. Louis. It was built as a gas station, and then a fast food Mexican place for a long time. CVS/pharmacy was going to tear the building down, but thanks to a petition that he started, the building was salvaged and repurposed as a Starbucks instead.
