They could certainly have the effect, although I don't know if they could explicitly get the keyword.

Oh, that's a much better loophole patch: "No player may respond to this ability, and this ability does not trigger any other abilities."
Lag Spike 6
Artifact
When Lag Spike enters the battlefield, choose a player. Whenever that player casts a spell, exile that spell until the beginning of that player's next turn.
Noninstant spells exiled with Lag Spike have flash.
Is the flash necessary? :/ Also, this does work, dunnit?
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, baby"Whenever that player casts a spell that was not exiled with Lag Spike, exile that spell. At the beginning of that player's next upkeep, they may cast that spell without paying its mana cost."
Of course, this would mean multiples don't stack. Or multiples would lock that player out forever. Don't remember the rulings on cards that reference themselves by name.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?I don't usually play with stuff that gets temporarily exiled, but I think you have to explicitly say that the spell gets cast when you want it to come back.
I figured it just returned to the stack on their next turn without being cast. Copies of spells are put on the stack without being cast, so it's a thing that can happen. Should've added reminder text, though, I guess. :/

Counter target spell unless its controller pays {4}. If a card exiled with ~'s delve ability shares a type with target spell, counter it instead.
I just really like the "what you delve matters" thing Soulflayer does, OK?

Sorcery
Return all face-up exiled cards you own to your graveyard. Exile ~ face-down.
Not all those who wander are lost.
Unlikely to be published, because they like exiled things to stay exiled.

Enchantment
When ~ enters the battlefield and at the beginning of each upkeep, ~ deals 2 damage to all creatures and players.
Whenever a creature dies, exile it face-down.
However, those who wander in magma are most assuredly lost.

How would one word a weapon-related mechanic on a creature that adds 1 Bushido for every piece of Equipment attached to that creature?
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!"~ has Bushido 1 for each Equipment attached to it". Since each instance of Bushido triggers individually, this would work fine.

Two ways I can think of. One is to say "Bushido X, where X is the number of equipment cards attached to it," or "Bushido 1 for each equipment card attached to it" with reminder text that multiple instances of Bushido stack.
If they want to reference all cards named X, they write exactly that down: "cards/permanents/spells/etc named X"

''The eternal question of reality, it still stands today.''- Our Dragons Are Different BBRRGG
- Enchantment
- Whenever a Dragon creature ETB under your control, choose one of the following effects to activate; put 3 +1/+1 counters on it, it gains First Strike, it gains Haste, it gains; when this creature attacks, deal 5 damage to each creature your opponents control, or it gains; when this creature attacks, tap all creatures your opponents control.
I would have guessed something like "All dragons are legendary."
Switzerland
Legendary Land
When ~ ETB, return an untapped land you control to your hand or sacrifice ~.
T: Add R, G, or W to your mana pool.
During each opponent's end step, if they did not attack you this turn, you and that opponent gain an artifact token named Gold that has "Sacrifice this artifact: add one mana of any color to your mana pool."
~~~~~
Switzerland itself is G/W, I just put R because the entire country is mountains.
You might be able to specifically say that that ability doesn't count, right on the emblem.
Can abilities get split-second?
