Could someone describe the 'ending the show' joke to me? I'm not caught up.
Thank you.
But remember that in the past, in vlogs, he's assured people that he hasn't even made a dent in his collection and has no plans for retirement.
I'm a skeptical squirrelI wonder if the Nerd will review Star Fox for the Atari 2600? Maybe if a new Star Fox game is announced, he'll do it.

They assed first. I am only retaliating in an ass way. -The Dead Man's LifeHilarious in Hindsight, it was announced.
While this isn't a Nerd review, James Rolfe put out a video about WTF moments in the original Transformers cartoon:

What really kills me is James Rolfe briefly brings up Beast Wars and seems to make fun of the infamous "Trukk not Munky" reaction from G1ers. I still want to know what he would REALLY think of the show if he watched the whole thing (and yes, I've rewatched it recently, and it holds up pretty darn well. Much better than I suspect G1 does). Especially since someone at a con asked him once if he'd seen the 2K3 TMNT and he happily admitted it was pretty darn good.
Beast Wars snarking aside, I found this video hysterical. The animation errors are some of the lulziest I've ever seen, and the plot and writing oddities are pretty bizarre but it's James' reaction to it that makes the whole video. (by the way, Beast Wars had a take on "Starscream's Ghost" that made a LOT more sense than the original cartoon version).

It may not be an actual AVGN episode; but it's close enough to tide ME over, at least.
Yeah, G1 is pretty goofy. XD But I still have a fun time watching it.

I've asked this before, but how come NightmareFuel.TheAngryVideoGameNerd is locked? Were there problems with it in the past that caused it to be locked?
I assume it's locked because it was cut in the past (possibly as part of the cleanup that included shifting NF to Accidental Nightmare Fuel and High Octane Nightmare Fuel into normal NF), and the cutlist used to lock articles automatically after they were cut.
You can go to this thread if you want it unlocked.

Do we not already have a general Cinemassacre thread? We could talk about things such as James & Mike Mondays.
Yeah, but it's only gotten 5 posts in 3 years. Might as well just let it die and use this thread.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Been a fan of James for years. I like most of his reviews, but even the ones I don't like, he put good effort into.
One thing though is I'm wondering when he's either going to get a toupee to maintain his character's look, or just give up and shave his head?
Why? Is he going bald?
He's been going bald since 06-07. You can start to see it when he plays Gomez in his Addams family review, and it's on full display when he's putting the Dr. Jekyll cartridge in the NES in his revisited review.
So what is the general response to the AVGN movie? Is it just a cash grab like this guy claims it is?
From what I've heard it was pretty good as a B Movie.
Can anyone repost the link to the movie in here? I bought it on Vimeo, but I haven't gotten the chance to see it and lost the link to the video.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I was going through a bunch of old Facebook posts on my wall, and apparently at one point in time, James Rolfe and I were Facebook friends and he had posted on my wall.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.It is pretty crazy, the kind of talent he pulled for this movie. Bear McCreary?

I'm a skeptical squirrel
.... then only to replace his work with a new series that will only last for 5 episodes, then revive the Nerd again. :P
