This thread is for quick questions. A "quick question" is a question which has a relatively quick, generally factual answer; a question which is not likely to inspire an extended discussion.
e.g.
Quick Question: How tall is an average ten-year-old boy?
Not a Quick Question: Why are Americans obsessed with guns?
Quick Question: Why is ALS sometimes called Lou Gehrig's Disease? Who was Lou Gehrig?
Not a Quick Question: In Alan Dean Foster's Thranx Commonwealth series, is Pip a Mary Sue?
Get the idea?

That depends on the schools involved and the courses you took. You could call the admissions department at the school you're interested in transferring to and ask what you'd need to do to find that out.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Is Tyke Bomb supposed to be spelled "Tyke Bomb", or "Tykebomb"? It's inconsistent across the wiki, and even in the names of tropesnote .
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Can anybody point me to somewhere on the forum where I can learn about making music on computers? I've been messing around with LMMS, and I'd like some advice.
In the title of Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics (which is a direct quote from a phrase attributed to Benjamin Disraeli, BTW), what's the significance of qualifying the second instance of "lies" with "damned"? It seems like a Distinction Without a Difference to me.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. The 'damned' part always read to me like emphasis or as an intesifier, rather than anything religious or whatever.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."The example questions in this thread made me think of a question very similar: How tall would you estimate a 15 year old Japanese boy would be?
What forum should I go to if I want to ask "Would [example] count as [Trope Name]?"
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.Where would I go on this site to discuss philosophical matters?
I remember hearing that the host to one kids game show hated kids, and was so rude to the child contestants that he refused to talk to them when the cameras weren't rolling. I don't remember the show he was on, but it was in the era of Legends of the Hidden Temple and Nickelodeon GUTS. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
What happened to the Live Journal? And is it true they are leaking information to other people? Should I close my account?
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Anybody still got a copy or a working download link to the Kyon: Big Damn Hero visual novel?

Asking for piracy links is not permitted
New theme music also a boxThey're not asking for anything pirated, it's a free VN adaptation of a fanfic that used to be a big deal around here that was never finished and the download links are dead for
Ah,i see
New theme music also a boxI wonder why Tech Wishlist and Bug Reports forum hasn't gotten posts in over a year? Are its functions handled elsewhere now?

New theme music also a boxWhat is a 1099? And where do you find on your W2?
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."A 1099 is a separate form.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI see. I think I got it.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Does anyone know where I can find a list of Brandon T's reviews, pre-Channel Awesome? I want to start actually watching the movies he reviews and it would be nice to do them in order?
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?A musketeer is a soldier who uses a musket, a gun. Yet in every adaptation of The Three Musketeers they are all about swords and swordplay. I have never once seen them with a musket. Did they even use muskets in the books? If they don't use muskets why are they called musketeers?
Real musketeers were trained in both swords and muskets, as muskets were unreliable, and useless in close quarters. The Three Musketeers did use muskets in war scenes, but most of the fights were "honorable" street fights.
Is there a discussion thread on safety and self-defense matters (this would include the gun control and #neveragain but is not designed to focus specifically on guns alone nor on US and its existing laws)?
If not I was contemplating making one...
Is it still possible to get your credits from old college to a new college?
