I guess you could ask the same thing about why the pound is represented by some weird E and F hybrid.

Is it bad that I enjoy watching the Edit Banned thread every now and then (to the point of Archive Binge once...yep)? Not only that, but it's one of many historical tangents I went on. I've only been here since 2014 (little background because why the hell not? I recently had seven years (literally) of writers' block :I'm 22, and literally read the dictionary for fun as a kid. Never actually entered a spelling bee despite the cliche being floated more than once (Akeelah And The Bee didn't quite exist yet (because at my sharpest, even back then, it would be rather unsporting, to say the least). Basically, I'm that kid who would have been the Jerkass "smart kid" cliche...
Aaand there goes the timer...nearly but same thing lol. Will return to this soon (and try to edit a bit in the process...chunks or no...amirite, Hamiltonian writer/tropers?
