@Brahian: It's not you alone. The forums have been really slow these days. Could be because everybody's starting to get their school assignments which would keep them busy...

The Wire's pilot is 1 hour long, compared to Genshiken's 20 minutes. Also, it's loaded with terms that most civilians have no hope of understanding.

Ech, I couldn't imagine Genshiken's pilot extended to an hour. 60 minutes of some schmuck meandering about and some other boring people talking about anime topped off with crap VA work if you're watching the dub.
