This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

But it is still a big Take That!. Can someone make a sandbox to clean it up?
Does anyone pay attention to this thread? (Admins, I mean.)
I tried posting this before, but the page did not change, so I'll try again :in the Inheritance Cycle page, the plot summary seems to be a stealth Take That against eragon, in that it is very similar to Star Wars, in fact, in trying to point out the similarities to star wars,it blatently leaves out quite a few key plotpoints .
I am not that good at writing summaries(otherwise I'd write it myself), so I would appreciate if anyone here can help me with this.

Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.I'd like to request an image change for the Chick. Both the general discussion and a image picking discussion agree that Leia is not an example. She's a subversion. Just remmoving her from the page would be better than leaving on it. I'd like to have it unlocked so examples can be added or subtracted but just the image change would be great. Thanks
I don't think the example given in Subtext is a particularly good example of subtext. More objectively: the example isn't from Annie Hall, as claimed. As far as I can tell, it's taken from here: http://www.vcu.edu/arts/playwriting/woodyallen.html , and is written in the style of a scene in Annie Hall.
Is it ok to request examples for Orwellian Editor since this trope is not very subjective?
Orwellian Editor lacks examples because examples for that trope tend to be really controversial, despite being fairly objective, and lead to some pretty angry natter.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyThis is minor, but—
On The Bible, at the bottom of the description, please delete "The character sheet is currently empty." as the character sheet is not empty anymore. Thank you.
^Not actually my favorite animal.Well, but since it's a locked page, it's still ok to add examples that way. Sometimes it's the nature of the trope that's causes page locks.
Jack Mackerel, the page in the sandbox is still like its deleted page.
New theme music also a boxHow so? The tropes now have the relevant songs titled to them, the in-jokes are explained, and the meme section at the end is gone

Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.Hi,
I'd like to request an edit for The Chick, please. I just wanted to add an example: Katara, from Avatar: The Last Airbender. She COMPLETELY fits this trope!! Katara is "The Chick"; she has "healing hands", keeps everyone together, is "motherly" towards everyone, and does develop throughout the series. She's a fully developed character in addition to being The Chick, which is rare and fantastic.
Additionally, I can't decide which "Ladette-ish" trope Toph fits, but Toph and Katara play off each other well partially because of their tropes. Anyway I was surprised Katara wasn't already on the example list. I guess if I post here a mod edits the article? I hope? Thanks either way!!
Here's the link, because I don't know how to embed them; sorry. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheChick
Katara is already on the page.
BTW, I'm a chick.Add the hint that in the main page, if a sentence is preceded by two or more asterisks, it's not wise to start the paragraph with "YMMV" / "Your mileage may vary".
Speaking of Word Cruft, why is it locked in the first place?
I want to add an entry. It seems literally every third page I find uses "due to the fact that" instead of the much simpler "because". I wanted to add this as an example of Word Cruft.
Requested changes made to Word Cruft.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Also took care of The Bible request, above.

He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoI'd like to request a change/delete to the Double Standards pic, for these reasons:
1) It's of real life, non-famous people. They're unlikely to ever see the implications brought up about them by the picture and caption, but do we really want to take this risk?
2) It's inaccurate. I assume that such an event would only arise because of the movie, and unless this pic was taken at the release of Eclipse or before, and these moms are members of Team Jacob, they're not cheering for seventeen year olds (as Robert Pattinson was 22, and Kristen Stewart 18, when the first movie was released). This is especially since Taylor Lautner didn't get a lot of attention before he took his shirt off in Eclipse, as far as I can tell.
3) It requires mind-reading. The caption just assumes they're doing the teeny-bopper thing because of a lust for the actors involved.
I'll make an Image Pickin' thread for this.
The Synopsis page makes reference to a list that it no longer contains.

Should Troper Tales / Hype Backlash be unlocked or the last sentence of the main page of Hype Backlash edited?
Maradonia Saga looks mostly like one big Take That!. Although, if that's the source of "I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am" the author at least got a meme out of it.
