Para Para Paradise. Too bad it's not happening because it's mainly a Licensed Game.

Chrono Trigger. Chrono Cross doesn't count, I want something that plays like it.

God, that's a tough ask. Chrono Trigger was the product of such a Dream Team of immense talent.

I'll second Chrono Trigger being okay. You may now jump down my throat like everyone else I've admitted that to.

And another game from team Ico/Shadow Of The Colossus please (this one doesn't have to be a sequel).

This. But maybe something taking place in the same verse becausea friend and I have thought up so many Epileptic Trees I just need some sort of hint about anything at all.

Chrono Trigger's okay, but I still played it five times.

How about a System Shock 3?

I thought that was called Bio Shock? just kidding

Also an "interquel" between Shining Force I and II... no, "gaiden" doesn't count.

Replace Akira Toriyama with just about anyone else and I'll have to agree. Why anyone would ever hire him as a character designer, I don't know. Must be his fame or something.

To be frank Psychonauts should always have been a cartoon. I still maintain it was crap as an actual video game.

**head explodes**

I mean, I don't wanna call you out on your opinion or anything- but, it'd be nice if you could detail why you have that opinion. Psychonauts to me always struck me as something that was always at home in the game format.

I found the level design of Psychonauts routinely infuriating and counterintuitive. I can deal with games being difficult because I have the reflexes of a dead cat. What I can't deal with is being so frequently confused as to what the hell the game designers actually want me to do in order to progress.

And I'm not going to jump down anyone's throat for thinking that Chrono Trigger was "okay" or even if they think it sucked donkey balls. There's nothing out there that everyone likes.

As for System Shock 3, be careful what you ask for. Given that I've heard EA are making one, with absolutely no original Looking Glass staffers on board, I suspect it'll end up being an In Name Only sequel. Despite that, it'll probably still be more commercially successful than both previous games despite being mediocre due to EA having better hype merchants.

I suspect a repeat of the whole No Mutants Allowed thing with Fallout 3, except this time... I don't know, the Through The Looking Glass forums?

A sequel to American Mc Gee's Alice, only based in another classic tale. I heard he was doing one based on the Wizard of Oz but it got stuck in Development Hell or something. Also, a Starfox prequel that is a pure rail-shooter where you play as James Mc Cloud and have Pigma and Peppy as your wingmates. Seeing how it would be set in the past I hope that would mean no landmaster and no on-foot missions.

All the other ones I want (Skies Of Arcadia 2, another game from Team Ico and a sequel to Chrono Trigger that plays like Chrono Trigger) have already been mentioned.

The trouble with a sequel to Chrono Trigger that plays like the original is that the continuity is irreparably damaged. The original was engaging without being too confusing. Paradoxes were (mostly) glossed over, and Chaos Theory was completely thrown out the window, making a game where time travel actually worked intuitively. Chrono Cross raised the issues of chaos and paradox in such a way that the original game no longer made sense. In light of the world-mechanics of the second, nothing that happened in the first was believable any more. To integrate the two, you'd probably need the third to be even more confusing. The alternative would be to simply make the second Canon Discontinuity.

I'd like to see a proper sequel to Banjo-Tooie. By "proper sequel", I mean a 3D action-adventure, with platforming gameplay and between 9 and 10 worlds.

Just reboot the continuity and, for a plot twist, blame it on Lavos. It could totally work.

Also, I'm ashamed I forgot about Banjo-Kazooie. On an aside, I really wish Grunty had kidnapped Kazooie in the newer game. I'm still kind apissed that she was rendered useless. Granted, the Bear himself was pretty useless in the original games, in retrospect, but Kazooie is practically a non- entity in Nuts & Bolts.

Yes, indeed, Phantasy Star 4 was better than any 16-bit FF(there, I said it, hate me if you want), and a sequel that isn't a mumorpeger would be nice.

I'd like a sequel to Age of Mythology, please. For the MAC, damn you! I wasted so many hours of my life on that game.

Also, a new 3D Pokemon RPG.

Cut it with the spinoffs, capcom, and give us Ace Attorney 5 at once.

Jade Empire should've sold better and have an awesome sequel by now.

I'd love to see a second sequel to Golden Sun, but that'd also mean that I'd need to go out and buy a new hand-held system just for that game, which would make me sad.

I could probably find more games, but my post would then devolve to "and why didn't they ever bother to port this game to the PC! I'd gladly shell out $50 to get my hands on that."

I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.

If your hardware is good enough, you don't need a port; you just need an emulator.

not all consoles are emulable, and many of which are have serious compatibility issues... that said, a Golden Sun sequel would probably be for the DS, and the DS is very, very emulator friendly.
