The implication is that while Angelina's a bit of a neurotic mess who's completely out of her comfort zone, she's superb at her two actual jobs (being an accountant and wrecking peeps with ninjutsu). Certainly, we've never been given a reason to doubt her competence in those two fields. It's mostly interacting with a school environment that she can't handle.
What's precedent ever done for us?I don't think she's an incompetent accountant, but she's never shown herself to be amazing at it either. It's not even really her job in the first place, which is just to be Nagisa's aide, which would require a lot more general skills. So I guess it's unfair of me to say she can only fight and be an accountant.

Just finished Yamibou. What a bizarre show. It was actually less like KNM than I was expecting; not as dark, generally more cartoonish, and also faster-paced in its own disjointed way. It certainly could have been worse, yet at the same time I have to wonder why anyone thought it would be a good idea.
Next up is Maoyu. This show seems to be considered the spiritual successor to Spice and Wolf, so I hope to enjoy it, even if it's another relatively incomplete adaptation.

Just finished Maoyu. This has to have been one of the most unique and interesting animes I've seen in a while. It subverted, inverted, deconstructed, reconstructed and played straight its peculiar mishmash of fantasy tropes almost at random, and yet, with expertly woven worldbuilding and a careful balance of comedy, action and drama, it remained completely believable and immersive. I do feel it could have used more episodes, although I'm also impressed at everything it accomplished in just 12; certainly it managed to avoid spending its entire run blatantly suffering from its own brevity the way Angel Beats did. The animation was decent if not the best I've seen (there were some moments of Quality, and the usage of watercolor matte paintings was a bit overdone at times), but the voice acting was great and the soundtrack worked pretty well.
Next up is Rumbling Hearts. Supposedly this is some sort of tragic tearjerker romance story in the tradition of Air and Ef, although predating either of those.

Join my forum game!Maoyu...it would've been better had the anime SLOWED THE HELL DOWN. As it is, inferior S&W...but I'll admit, it's the best thing animated by Studio ARMS (which isn't saying much).
Honestly, I simply decided to keep reading the good one of the three manga adaptations for that series. The anime ended just before the manga hit that point it ended on, anyway.
For those who were following the Tokyo Animator series of short films, number 32 just dropped, and it's again done by Anno's Studio Khara. It's a short sidestory set in EVA's universe, of course...
Except it has characters designed by Love Live's character designer.
And it has lesbians.
Fifteen plus years, Anno. Better late than never eh?

Too bad it's 3DCG pig disgusting
The CGI was barely noticeable though, though I kind of wish that the girls didn't ALL have Nozomi's... roundness.
The final episode of Blood Battlefront Blockade is finally going to air on October 3rd. It's 46 minutes long.
Random thought.
I want to see a harem anime...where vast majority of the members are yanderes. In fact, those haremettes are love interests AND antagonists, including the big bad.
I think big bad as a yandere for hero thing is actually in Akame ga Kiru, if I remember correctly.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I think I've heard of a few of those. I know there was a visual novel with three? heroines. I don't like yanderes though so I don't know much about it.
Not a big fan either; that's why I said the bit about them being also antagonists.
I'd imagine much of the story involving choices by the MC; "Should I try to convert her into being less yandere, or do I take her out?" "Should I convince that girl to take out that other girl or convince them to work together for/against me?" That sort of things.
Might be even more interesting if I can throw in some politics and scheming.
Or not. -shrugs-
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I want to say Karakasa no Saien? Been a while since I read it, though, and I don't remember much
As for the Visual Novel... it was one published by Nippon Ichi it was named something like "I thought it would be a Harem paradise but it turned out to be a yandere hell"
You can probably find it later if you look for it.

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I was just thinking Yandere, actually. I forgot about that one.
I bought Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 a while back and only just now finished it and jeebus that was bittersweet. I actually started crying and that darn near never happens. I need to watch K-On or Lucky Star again to get out of this funk.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min Kimtokyo magntidude 8.0 is legit. it's a simple story, but very well-told.
My problem was that it runs out of steam after a few episodes and relies on contrived drama. There should still be the huge matter of reconstruction, so why focus on children getting into trouble when they should know better? It was interesting though to see animation that skimped on the art and focused on movement while on the same strained budget as most of these small productions.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Oh, what a joy.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Okay, 95% chance I'll end up hating that. They're going to screw it up.
Yup. Maeda has been descending ever since CLANNAD anime.

I don't think Angelina is actually that impressive. Nothing she's done has been that amazing except her fighting in the shuttle and she's incredibly incompetent at times. She did basically do what she needed to, though, which is to find out where the embezzled money went and who was responsible for it. Internal documents aren't going to say that much about the internal affairs of another company if he could even get them.
And oh, right, I forgot that Murakami did promise Sera some stuff. Were we supposed to believe him in that scene? I thought the joke was that Sera is a terrible judge of character. So I guess A-TEC was kind of screwed over by that, maybe.
