It's Saito.
Speaking of which, the guy has a sword now. Why doesn't he just draw that thing when Louise gets out her whip? It's like, "you whip me, I cut you." Simple.
I may end up dropping this series entirely cause I don't know how much more I can take. Seriously, who wrote this crap?

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.I've heard that's the standard reaction. Honestly, I don't know why anyone's a fan of this series. From what I know, the female lead's horrible, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever, the plot sucks and the animation is bad (this last one is just my impression). Anyone who's a fan want to clarify why they keep following this?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialMaybe, like with Tora Dora, because she's cute and they have misguided notion of what girls should be allowed to do to boys?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Honestly, without Louise, the show would be So Okay, It's Average at best. I do disagree with you on the animation (although I've seen better).
Anyway, this episode wasn't too bad. Louise finally getting slapped was something that needed to happen (I don't advocate violence against women. but I'll make a special exception in her case). The ending was pretty nice too; it actually made Louise look like a decent human being.
Can't wait for the next episode where they throw all that development out the window and she's back to beating Saito up as usual and I finally drop this thing.
Also, 'Gundalf'? Seriously?

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Louise is kind of horrible, but the rest of the cast is fairly likable
Doesn't really matter to me now; I dropped it earlier today.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. The first 4 eps of Shakugan No Shana Second are up dubbed. Remember, this has the Funi cast so this may take some getting used to.
And speaking of things dub fans need to get used to...

Huh. I hadn't heard about that one. Well, I wish her the best of luck.
That name doesn't ring any bells. Help?

Oh, a Funi voice actor. I don't watch much of Funi's stuff.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. She's not the first, or even the first to go public.
I know, it's just that I wanted to let you guys know in case confusion rises later.
Huh.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Name three who came before her.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Can only do one: Maddie Blaustein, the voice of Meowth in the Pokemon dub and Grandpa Mutou in the Yu-Gi-Oh cub, among other accomplishments.

I do not choose to speculate on the birth gender of any voice actors who have not gone public.
She had a great range of voices, even outside Pokemon. Sad how she's gone.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Funimation has uploaded Sengoku Basara The Last Party dubbed on its youtube channel

All of those things are pointed out... and not really dealt with on a broad scale because that is how their society works. Though they are slowly developing their sciences and one high-ranking official puts together a personal guard of nothing but musketeers/swordsmen—not a single mage among them. (trying not to spoil anything important)
If you are interested in the series, I would recommend reading the original Light Novels. That way you can skim over most of the worst parts and only really imagine the parts you like.
Personally, I generally like the setting, characters, and plot except for how abusive Luise is and how much Navel Gazing the main character does. Considering how often she is abusive for no good reason (or something interrupts their relationship as it gets better and she takes it out on him) and he gets into tricky relationship issues that he blames himself for... well, lets just say that you might be able to steer an oil tanker through the hole that that "except" leaves.
I just keep reading because I want to know more about the history of their world and how the various world conflicts will play out. I don't read it for the main couple (even if they do have their brief moments) and only partly read it for the harem antics. A small part.
PS: ...why can I remember just about everyone's name except the main character's? I keep thinking of Kirito.
