Bad Export for You, perhaps?
What's precedent ever done for us?The Japanese versions never got exported, though.
I think it should be becuase if they use the songs in the DVD they have to pay royalties for it.
The Familiar Of Zero Episode 1: Hey this isn't as bad as I imagined. Now that I've graduated from the Bakemonogatari school of fanservice this level doesn't even phase me. I'd say I'm even interested to see how they pull this setting off. And as much as it doesn't stand out from the crowd, I can't say I've seen this exact setup before.
Episode 2: The abuse starts [-700pts]

>One Piece leading by a margin of 10 million copies
how the fuck
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat! You don't look at the sales numbers very often, do you? That sort of thing has become an Unusually Uninteresting Sight.
IIRC, top selling book in Japan in One Piece. Second-best? One Piece. Third-best? One Piece.

@ Ultimately Subjective: that's actually tamer than the light novel - she beat him till he passed out.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.Wasn't that after he tried to molest her in her sleep?
#IceBearForPresidentLol, Bleach isn't even in the Top 10 anymore.
Watch SymphogearIt's not really funny anymore. I mean, that's what happens when your plot goes insane and you call the loyal Otaku that buy your book no matter what manchildren.
I kind of feel sorry, because it did have a good Urban Fantasy-ish start (Up until Rukia is kidnapped and fifty million characters are introduced anyways).
Infinity...I'm finally giving Fullmetal Alchemist a (third) re-try. Starting with Brotherhood this time.
Every other time I attempted to give the series a look, it lost my attention quickly.
I'm someone to whom the characters and setting held little appeal. Initially at least.
The execution is the main reason I like the show, and the best execution is in Brotherhood. I only rated the first anime average (significantly lower).
If you don't happen to like the characters, don't really think the setting is special and don't appreciate the manner in which the narrative is told like me, I could easily see you not really liking it.
I can't say about the manga, but if its anime, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood would be my recommendation.
The Birdy The Mighty II manga is very cool. Birdy is like early Alita without the angst, there's more worldbuilding,The Masquerade is in effect and the female childhood friend is,well,a friend, not a love interest.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.I'm curious as to why manga "handsome" characters tend to have petite builds. The only stories where I find overweight or big-boned men being drawn as even a little attractive are Studio BONES works. Most importantly, we never see a big guy wearing "beautiful" expressions (think some of the cuter, dreamier expressions some bishounen such as Tamaki Suoh or Allen Walker can pull).
Maybe Katou from Gantz?
Petite? Wiry or lanky maybe. Some of them are pretty tall.
I think a cute smile on a muscular man might be rather out-of-place.

Why? Aren't musuclar men allowed to be not just handsome, but beautiful? Like Brad Pitt. Or Superman (especially Allstar Superman, he's downright cute, but also his animated version from that Batman Superman Apocalypse animated film: he was so handsome it underwent Memetic Mutation) Or John Smith (not very tall, but he is kinda hulky). Worf could get pretty wistful on occasion ("They claw at you..."), but it's more of a voice thing. His face is kinda stuck.
Anyway, I don't think there's anything quite as warm and reassuring as a powerful man wearing a tender, soft expression. There's something parental to it.

OK so Claymore ended... except it didn't apparently. And I have problems understanding what they are saying.
Weird.
If you just tried reading the version of the newest chapter I just saw, it has a REALLY BAD translation. I couldn't even make it past the first couple of pages. It's like they ran it through a translation program and just used that with no proofreading at all.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I'm 4 volumes into the Birdy the Mighty manga and shit is getting serious. Know how in most anime and manga there's an unwritten rule that school and main plot don't cross paths? Not here. The side villain turned up at the main character's school and outright started killing people.

Copyright issues, possibly? Also: sub or dub?
