Perhaps what I am REALLY raging at is the fact that I watched this and, goodness gracious for a while, even liked it.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
That makes more sense. It is a little disappointing to watch some, enjoy it and then realize afterward 'Wait, that show was awful!'

It's one of those cases where one really wishes a better* writer had come up with the concept.
- "Better" in this case meaning one that would actually follow the premise all the way down the rabbit hole and consider the full implications.

Nisekoi pre-orders have apparently been so ridiculous that Amazon won't be in stock for another few weeks. Note that the series has yet to fall off the top half of the Shonen Jump ToC. Proof that being a Cliché Storm can be a good thing.

Question: How come no Sentai elements-incorporating Magical Girl Warrior anime/manga has attempted to adopt the Humongous Mecha aspect of the Super Sentai series? Imagine that: A Magical Girl Warrior piloting a Humongous Mecha against a massive Kaiju of the Week.

Only if you look at it as "Magical Girl Warrior has the firepower of a Humongous Mecha (and has a color scheme referencing a certain mecha anime's signature giant robot)".

It's not that bad a series. If you're judging the manga by the anime, well... Even fans of the manga hate the anime. :/

Lu: From what I hear, Infinite Stratos really is pretty crappy. Getting upset at the series for not being something else just seems pointless to me.
