If there's one thing I like about Pokemon Dark Rising, it's the removal of needing HM moves to advance the plot.
Oh wait no, if you can't use Fly to escape the island with the 7th Gym Badge you can't complete the game at all.
I am not sure if anyone has pointed it out before, but the SPMD trailer has left continent be the one from PMDRB, and the right one seems to be from GtI.

"Screw it, I AM going to enjoy this game!"Tropius is a good HM Slave. Gets Fly, Cut, Strength, and Rock Smash.
But the best HM Slave is still Mew.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!not that you're really capable of getting one in most games.
i actually managed to get a shiny one from a Facebook page. I'm pleased.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeSo apparently Hoopa gets released in Japan on Sunday. Didn't realize time had flow that fast.
To be honest I'm actually kind of looking forward to watching its movie, if only to watch the Legendaries duke it out.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Just Here for Godzilla is more or less every pokemon after the first one (assuming you're watching the japanese version), no? I heard the Keldeo movie was decent but i've never seen it.
It was good when no humans were on screen. I dislike the anime being a Human-Focused Adaptation, especially since none of the human characters are interesting
3rd movie's legit good though.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?yeah, the entei movie was cool.
Whatever, everyone cried with the first movie.

Trans rights are human rights.the original japanese cut of the first movie was actually surprisingly good. i hesitate to call it an exceptional film because the human characters all sucked except for dr. fuji, but mewtwo has a much more interesting characterization there in my opinion and easily carried the movie.

The fourth movie was great. In fact the first 5 movies were all great, i even saw the 5th one in theatres.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Maeim not a little kid. the movies sucked.
Warning: This poster is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Cancer may not be available in your country.I was a little kid when the movies debuted.
Nostalgia won't let them suck.
Matter of fact, until I'd say maybe the Zoroark movie I watched and enjoyed all of them as soon as I could.
The movies were all good (until recently i guess), even when the anime began sucking.
Like, the Lucario movie was good, even though the anime at that time just wasn't.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI quite liked the movies of the Sinnoh trilogy, Darkrai's movie is a good portion of the reason he's my favorite legendary.
My Pokemon movies tier ranking.
1. Entei (3), Lucario (8), Zoroark (13)
2. Mewtwo (1), Lugia (2), Deoxys (8), Shaymin (11)
3. Manaphy (9), Darkrai (10), Arceus (12)
4. Lati@s (5), Jirachi (6), Victini (14)
5. Celebi (4), Keldeo (15), Genesect (16)

The movies for the most part are just like the show; not bad bad, but boring until an action sequence happens. And not all the action sequences are very engaging.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? This is the best part of the Darkrai movie.
The settings are always fuckin' beautiful, though. Not!Venice from the Lati film and Not!Amsterdam from the Zoroark one are the ones I remember most.

Heart of StoneI really like the Darkrai movie, but I'm not sure if I could call it "good" like the Entei one because I'm biased towards Darkrai.
One thing the anime's always definitely been good with is the music, which illustrates.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The Lugia movie is probably my favorite, with the first movie coming in a close second
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI haven't seen too many of the movies, but of the ones I've seen, the Darkrai one is my favorite by far.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIn my opinion, the first 5 movies were good. Jirachi: Wishmaker and Destiny Deoxys were mediocre, then Lucario and the Mystery of Mew turned out good.
Ranger and the Temple of the Sea I don't remember much of aside from the Ash/May subtext but a Pokemon Ranger was in it, so point for that I guess.
The Rise of Darkrai I thought was average, Giratina and the Sky Warrior I can't remember outside how annoying I found Shaymin. I never saw Arceus and the Jewel of Life. Zoroark: Master of Illusions I think was good as well.
Pokémon the Movie: Black/White—Victini and Reshiram/Zekrom I liked more in hindsight due to the better handling of the Zekrom/Reshiram conflict the anime made poor use of(and I have a soft spot for the admittedly gimmicky One Game for the Price of Two premise)
I never saw Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice, but I hear good things about it.
Genesect and the Legend Awakened is the last movie I watched, and it was kinda terrible.
Something I find weird though, Weavile can learn Whirlpool.
