Odd confessions.

Haven't had Red Bull, but I did have a small cup of Monster once (it was part of an experiment to see how caffeine affects your heart rate). Not sure I'd do that again. I remember getting really talkative.

Still about a year and a half away from turning 21, but I can't really see myself drinking alcohol, either — at least not very often — for several reasons.

I love watching facebook videos where the uploader puts all sorts of gadgets on a Gameboy, Gameboy Color, or Game Boy Advance. They remind me of Kamen Rider toys, and its so satisfying hearing the little sounds where they connect.

Part of the reason I never swear is so that I can retain my ability to perform a Precision F-Strike, if necessary.

There are three characters that I have certain head can for their romantic/sexual orientation, but, oh, I ship them is not in alignment with it. They are Ash Ketchum, Azula, and Franziska Von Karma.

I started doing Slim fast because I got tired of making lunch.

I also like using Unusual Euphemisms instead of "bad words" because it's funnier.

Bojack Horseman made me realize how powerful a word not used frequently is. Shows that swear a lot lack weight and feel forced.

Sometimes when a work has Early-Installment Weirdness, Characterization Marches On, or other Retcons, I'll still try to come up with some justification for why it was like that in canon besides the obvious "the writers had a better idea" kind of reasoning.

Occasionally writers still try to come up with a canonical explanation for these kinds of retcons, though.

Ever since I watched Bojack Horseman, hearing frequent expletives has made me feel uncomfortable.

Slurs I’m oddly still cool with. What I get for following people who practiced N-Word Privileges for 5 years straight.

I don't think it's right to use slurs regardless if you belong to said group.

They still feel weightless to me but I know better.

Trying to listen to a video and do wick cleaning at the same time. It just results in the video becoming background noise so I've been restarting it every five minutes.

Amazon’s cartoons are great shows and do a good job at cementing that animation can appeal to adults. The gore has become tiresome and repetitive.

Well, I was indecisive in the store prepping for my Cheat day. It took me an hour to decide what candy and Ben & Jerry's I wanted. ^note  Milk chocolate M&Ms, Sour Gummy worms, and Phish Food.

I have a weird relationship with the Bechdel Test. Not in that I don't try to pass it, but in that I'm so overly aware of it now that any time I write my girls talking about a boy I hyperfixate on it lol

I find myself unbothered by the dated CGI in Beast Wars. And this isn't even a "you had to be there" thing, the show ended its run before I was born.

Good writing will do that. I find it to be the same case with many anime and their lack of animation that still plagues the medium to this day.

When I was a kid on the receiving end of Anger Born of Worry, I didn't believe the adults when they said, "I was so worried!"; I thought they must surely be lying. I couldn't understand for the life of me how they could be so nasty if they genuinely had been worried.

When it comes to Let's Plays, I gravitate more towards comedy and weirdness than skill. I rarely watch people play big popular games since I find them boring compared to weird, silly obscure stuff. At the same time, I don't always care if someone is good at a game if they entertain me enough. It's likely why I gravitate towards people like Call Me Kevin and the Grumps (who I've begun to rewatch).

• When I was a kid I used to "ship" Bart/Raven^note Specifically the Teen Titans incarnation, because at the time I didn't know that any of the characters except Robin even had other incarnations. For a while Teen Titans was basically the only DC content I watched/read before I even knew of the term shipping. I had imagined out these weird pseudo-fanfics that kinda leaned to them as a couple I think. I am very, very glad I never wrote or especially tried to publish any of these, seeing how many of the later works I made (as in, when I had more solid ideas and such) already came under Creator Backlash; I could only imagine the embarrassment from that stuff.
• Speaking of Teen Titans I believe the episode "Nevermore" was where I got my interest in color-coded Literal Split Personality scenarios from. I had sort of done this with Nepeta Leijon (well, bloodswaps), .GIFfany (alternate copies of her game/"characters in" her game), and Hank Hill (Crack Fic stuff) so far, along with a couple of original fiction stories, and I'd like to toy with the idea elsewhere.
• I swear when it comes to video game layouts I either get hopelessly lost or know the entire map like the back of my hand with no in-betweens. When I first played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (3D) Kokiri Forest felt like a maze for a while, I somehow didn't notice the minimap until... heck, getting the Master Sword?, and I didn't see the entrance to the Lost Woods until I went there from Goron City to get Saria's Song.
• This might overlap with a TV Tropes confession but I have a probably-unusual interest in Early-Installment Weirdness. I think it's kinda fun noting when a series changes itself and mainly thinking about what kind of alternate direction a series would have gone in if the "Weirdness" didn't go away. I also really like learning about What Could Have Beens for a similar reason.
• I like watching speedruns (or randomizer playthroughs) while I eat. For a while I had been watching quicker any% runs in general, but I've gotten in to larger runs that are multiple hours long that I break up by watching in chunks. Usually 100% for "longer" ones, but some times I'll look for "All XYZ" runs if the game's "standard" 100% requirement has a lot of grinding and there's a more popular "All XYZ" category instead^note Super Mario Odyssey All Unique Moons since 100% of that involves buying a lot of shop Moons and grinding for the coins to get them or if the "100%" for whatever reason still excludes something I find interesting^note Pikmin 4 currently has All Areas 100% as the "main large" category but I'm more in to All Missions since the latter means not using Dingo to skip Dandori Challenges/Battles and it involves the Trial of the Sage Leaf.

I have also found myself wondering how my often my stories pass or fail the Bechdel Test, not enough to read over what I already had, but I do try to go by memory and ponder it over. I think a long time ago I specifically tried to go out of my way to write a conversation that would pass it in a fanfic and found that I was really forcing it that time.

I like the lore of the Star Wars prequels and find it works when written properly. On the other hand, it doesn’t work with the original trilogy in mind.

I keep pronouncing /z/ as /s/ when I speak English. I blame the fact that I had multiple English teachers who pronounced "is" with an exaggerated "izzz", which sounded terrible and put me off practicing the /z/ sound.
