Alright, confess odd things.

For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

I love roadtrips and traveling. I hate packing and planning them. I never want to move ever in my life but I have to for school and later in life.

I really hate the word "horror". The last syllable practically blends in with the first, and then it sounds like... you know. tongue

I also have trouble pronouncing "insects". Whenever I say it, the last 3 letters sound like an x.

Sometimes, when I see stuff I dislike (such as someone harshly insulting something I enjoy), I...look up more stuff I dislike.

When I get mad, I cry. When I get super happy, I cry. When I'm intensely moved by something, I cry. I cry when someone is in a bad situation. I cry over cute dog videos. I cry over nice things and bad things.

It sounds like I cry a lot, but I really don't. I at least cry three to four times a month. It's good to cry and let your emotions out. That way you can feel better and be nicer and better.

I sometimes cry when I get very angry. I actually really hate this as it stops people taking me seriously when I'm mad.

Sure the show's stupid but it's bright, fun, and you see grown men get punched in the face multiple times an episode. What's not to like?

Most of the time, seeing a character get a lot of hate makes me like the character more because I feel bad for the character... even though the character isn't real and it's not like they'd ever know that they're hated by a lot of their audience. As a result I end up liking a lot of Scrappies and Base-Breaking Characters.

[up]I'm like that to a small extent with everything. I sometimes wonder how many things I wouldn't have liked if people hadn't hated on it.

Heh, that reminds me of that one group of bisexual emo porn performers (long since defunct) who named one of their videos "A weekend of whoreror".

But, in other news, I like to sing 'Drink The Blood Of The Priest' with an exaggerated Bela Lugosi kind of accent. Must be that church organ intro (I do have it cut out and saved, maybe I can use it for a ringtone).

[up][up][up] Similarly, I sometimes get annoyed by character hate mostly based on "they don't have much of a role in the plot/don't do much for the story/have little backstory". For example, I remember Apollo Justice getting this quite a bit (before Dual Destinies where he got more of a role and some more backstory), being disliked because he didn't seem to "do much" for the story and took over for Phoenix in his own series, but even if he "took over" for Phoenix it still seemed like Phoenix's story in the end. But I still liked Apollo as a character and thought he just suffered from wasted potential (also probably helps that Apollo Justice was my first Ace Attorney game) and would have hoped for him to be written better, rather than thinking "terrible new character who should never have been introduced" like some seemed to.

I want a break from being an adult. I want a break from taking care of other people. Honestly, I'd love a little reprieve from even taking care of myself! I want a vacation, something all-inclusive, hopefully with the partner but I'd go alone too. I'd prefer to go to the beach, but anywhere that other people will bring me food and alcohol and then clean up after me would be just fine.

Since that is not an option right at this very minute, I'll just kick back and play some Mario Kart. I've done enough work today.

I really really miss forums (in general) being more popular :c Especially because they fulfill different stuff than social media and lets you talk to others in a different way, so they can't just be... replaced?

[up] I hear ya. There's that thing about forums where you're free to discuss just about anything to its fullest extent and gather new opinions by hearing out what other people think. Forums are a community-driven thing. Nowadays announcements on social media and newer forums just feel really static and don't have that same level of encouragement to discuss things back then.

I also feel like that forums nowadays are getting ruder. Most forum-goers I see these days are now really obsessed with politics and other social issues, almost to a point where they grow paranoid over it, which is something I don't like seeing. In any forum I join nowadays, I always have some person sending me a passive-aggressive message, even when I do nothing wrong.

For me, it's more that forums are more about the "community" where everyone's free to drop into a thread and discuss something, while social media is all about who you follow (typically people you already know, creators you like or someone whose content you like) Different ways of connecting with others, serving different needs

Ah, I getcha now. I can totally understand. Social media is more convenient since you can look at it at anytime, anywhere these days, like on your phone or on TV. But it also lacks in that personality that forums had, and in some ways, social media is ironically less about community, since you're only just following a person who makes content rather than joining in the conversation.

Yeah, it's easier for a newcomer to join in a conversation, while if you on social media don't have any friends there or aren't already a content creator people like, you're pretty much just "screaming into the void" with your posts. While forums look the same way for everyone, not showing a different set of posts depending on who you follow

There's also way more different forums to choose from, while for social media there's pretty much a few "big" ones (all with their own associations and "reputations" regarding the general community and that's all I feel like saying about that) while each independent forum has its "own" community
