Had I not picked Murataku as my troper name, I most probably would've called myself Mr Natural, after a song I like. The only reason I didn't is because then everyone would probably keep mistaking me for a bloke.

SAME. I'm studying them in a science class now, and I've had to read and re-read and highlight and copy most of the freaking chapter by hand. I still don't get it.

In my non-academic life, I can get away with not thinking about it. If I can EVER understand it well enough to explain it to someone else who doesn't understand it, I'll PM you.

I feel dumb for not knowing what "Murataku" means.

It doesn't mean anything, really. It's the nickname of a character from a gag manga I used to like. I don't actually like the character much anymore, but the name is catchy and nobody else seems to use it or anything like it, so I stuck with it.

The nickname reminds me of Murata Yusuke, one of my all time favorite manga artists.

Years back, an image I made was added as a "Notable example" on knowyourmeme (specifically the Ace Attorney one on "Inappropiate Timing Spongebob"). I didn't even know about this until I found it later, so I guess they found it by looking through the tumblr tag. I still feel kinda proud about this haha x3

I have my Xbox One up in my parents' attic in storage. I'm only allowed to bring it and set it up in my room once I've done some things for them.

As a self-professed optimist who believes that Humans Are Flawed and Rousseau Was Right, I dislike people spouting doom and gloom about the nature of humanity and humanity as a whole. I can see why they come to that sort of conclusion considering the course of history and my own personal experiences, but it just comes across as pathetically fatalistic and self-defeatist. It gives them an excuse to stand and watch atrocities being carried out without lifting a finger to help. I hope you folks won’t get mad at me for saying this, just venting

I agree with you! Most people are good. All of them are flawed. It's our job as humans to help, to be kind, and to defeat (or work around) our flaws.

Confession: I'm totally not waking my daughter up right now, even though she's way oversleeping, because this is the only quiet I'll get all day. The rest of the day will be filled with socializing, and I'm storing up quiet time in hopes that the day won't be too exhausting.

Confession: One time I very briefly thought that Lowe's (the hardware store) had started selling foundation makeup.

See, they had these paint sample things they were advertising in their flier. The thing is, the paint samples came in these little jars that look similar to foundation jars, and the colors shown in the ad were a golden tan, a dark brown, and a pale peach. I see little jars of something that is skin tones I am gonna think makeup. Probably shoulda made one of them like... turquoise or something.

When I'm alone, I like to practice voice acting. I'm not very good at doing voices, but I know what I want certain characters to sound like, so I like trying to replicate the voices I think of.

The characters I like practicing the most are the Ventriloquist and Scarface. I'm happy with my Ventriloquist voice (a deep but soft voice with a British accent), but Scarface is hard to do. He's got dat Gronx accent, see? And dat gothersome Vergal Tic. It ain't easy for me ta replicate, see?

Even though my avatar works pretty well for Halloween, I wasn't even thinking of that when I got it. I just saw it on the LittleBigPlanet Wiki and thought it looked cool.

I think Iron-Blooded Orphans is the only series, Gundam-wise, where I sympathize with the Char Clone.

Dude, he's like my second favourite character, even if I disagree with some of his, uh, later actions.
