Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

We don't have Velveeta over here, and the cheese I had in mind is of the processed spread variety.
Suffice to say that the one they put in GI rations over here is often nicknamed "TNT". Probably thanks to the similarities in color and consistency to TNT blocks.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI enjoy the 1980s Superman movies more than any other depiction of the character.
I don't know how odd this one is, but I never found clowns to be scary except for The Joker and even then, he can be funny in a Black Comedy way.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."I have never enjoyed any interpretation of Superman. Even as I'm starting to warm up to the superhero genre, Superman still leaves me cold. He seems too much like a Mary Sue no matter what.
I don't have much reaction at all to clowns.
Injustice is a pretty interesting take on Superman's whole 'complex'.
Confession: I'm a girl, but I'm way more into football (American) than I am into makeup and such. It leads to some awkward conversations. I've actually had other women (around my age) tell me that I'm too into sports. But I'm a fairly good cook (not just my opinion, an ex boyfriend of mine told me I should open a restaurant) and I can be girly when I want to be, most of the time I just don't feel like it.
I'll show you lightning! As I always do, I'd suggest All-Star Superman. If you can't get in to that, then you must really hate Supes.
Eh, it's been done before that, and better. There's an arc of both the Justice League comics and animated series that covers more or less the same basic plot of Injustice and does it extremely well. I believe there are quite a few other Superman stories using that premise as well.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Did you punch them? You should've punched them.
I mean not really, I don't condone violence, but just...that kind of attitude really grinds my gears. I mean, even ignoring the sexism aspect of that, anything to the effect of "you shouldn't like this thing you like" is just...ugghhhhh.
"We're home, Chewie."I often ask myself "What Would Jazmine Do?". And try to be more like her. She's not the only character I look up to, but I do look up to her a lot along with a lot of other characters.
She's such a kind and innocent and empathetic person, even when surrounded by a cruel and racist world.
She's one of the only characters that can make me enjoy anything from the Boondocks or be a fan. I can't watch the show, it's too horrible and cruel and depressing. I only care about watching the Jazmine clips, for the most part.
But I do like the comics. The comics are more innocent and not cruel or horrible. But I have seen the Jazmine Du Bois clips and episodes. And I like the comics.
That's why I have Jazmine Du Bois as an avatar. I want to always be reminded of and be her kindness.

Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world?I want to be the main character of Rolitania. She has awesome Psychic Powers.
Even though she's a psychopath, I love her. I love her more than I love myself.
It makes sense, because I wrote the thing.
Can't type for jack. I use one finger of one hand to type everything, and use the one finger from the other hand for the shift key.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI absolutely HATE the True Art is Angsty trope because it implies that any work that's lighthearted is automatically "inferior" to a darker work, no matter whether it's good or not.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."It's why grimderp is so common
It's also why so many film critics have a certain loathing for works which try for dark but instead go into Eight Deadly Words and Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy. It's one thing for a work to actually use its darkness and become artistic as a result, but so many loathe hopelessness and this especially applies to French and Italian film critics, who get prepared to hate any darker films of their own nations' studios.
"Did you expect somebody else?"The only thing that is needed to make a work mature, in my eyes, is the consequences. Like, things happen for good reasons the consequences are explored in a realistic way.
Explicit content is NOT automatically mature and if anyone says otherwise I'm going to beat you in the head with my copy of The Little Prince.
(hey, never said I was mature)

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I don't listen to the current popular songs of take selfies or use Facebook or Instagram, the latter of which people only started using once Facebook bought it
When it comes to fandoms, I (for the most part), stay away from them because of how CRAZY the fans can get and there's debates on even the most trivial of stuff in a fictional work.
It's main reason why I quit the Star Wars, Super Smash Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog fandoms. I'm still a fan of those works, I just don't see why some people get so bent out of shape over something whether it's major or minor.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Many people think I look like Jack Black, and I am not sure of how I am supposed to take it.
The Great Northern Threadkill.Slap them.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elsePersonally I'd consider any and all comparison to Jack Black as a compliment.
"We're home, Chewie."even his corpulence and his tendency to be in good-bad movies?
I'll show you lightning! As a fat guy, I greatly resent that first part. Being chubby isn't a bad thing. It's just a body type.
As for the second thing, the thing with Jack Black is he's good even in bad movies. And by "good" I mean "over the top," which is the same as "good" in my book. Just look at his performance in The Neverending Story 3. Dude was having a ton of fun with that role.
"We're home, Chewie."Black channels the pork on an almost Shatner level sometimes. I enjoyed most of the movies I've seen him in.
Gomenasai, didn't mean any offense on the weight.
I'll show you lightning!
