Sunflower was originally written as a song from an older sister towards a younger sister who is growing up. I think it could work that way, maybe for Minami-ke, from Haruka to Kana. Or even something like Wakaba towards Aoba.
I'm thinking it would also go well with a Childhood Friend Love Interest. Any ideas?
Y'know what I want? A Shiki/Arcueid AMV to Staind's Run Away.
Too bad there's no Tsukihime anime, because that song fits their relationship perfectly
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialHaving seen Summer Wars now, I think Weird Al's "Virus Alert" would go well with it. You might have to mine other anime for some imagery, but most of it can probably work with just Summer Wars.
@feotakahari: If you're into B:TAS AM Vs, I've always thought a Joker AMV set to Blink 182's "What's My Age Again?" would be great.
Oh, and how about a Code Geass AMV about Lelouch done to "I Just Can't Wait to be King" from The Lion King?

For Madoka:
- Really* thinks it works well with Homura addressing a certain character.
Speaking of Madoka Magica, I really want to do an AMV of "When Will You Die" by They Might Be Giants, with Kyubey as the subject of the song.
(In case you were wondering, Sayaka is Dan, Mami is Dan, Kyouko is Marty, Homura is John, and Madoka is also John.)
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone. Now that we have a Future Diary anime, there's a good candidate for "Poison Ivy." "She's as pretty as a daisy, but look out man, she's crazy."
And for the Otomo series Freedom, Jimmy Buffet's "Desdemona's Building a Rocket Ship".
Something about the Red Hot Chili Peppers new song Monarchy of Roses sounds so inherently Shojo. I'd love to see something along those lines: preferably Revolutionary Girl Utena after watching the Jesu Otaku / Brows Held High joint review of the OAV

With blood and rage of crimson red ripped from a corpse so freshly dead together with our hellish hate we'll burn you all that is your fateC The Money And Soul Of Possibility combined with Simply Irresistable.
Just listen to the lyrics and think about it.
@Scherzo 09: "Break My Soul", huh? That one definitely fits. It has a Determinator feel to it.
I'm working on a Madoka video (Windows Movie Maker keeps acting up though...) How's this song for Kyouko and Sayaka?

What's the point in giving up when you know you'll never stop anyway? It's not a whole song, just a fragment of one, but in the song "Mine, Mine, Mine!" from Pocahontas there's a section sung by John Smith that would fit really well with Luffy from One Piece. Here's the lyrics:
All of my life I have searched for a land like this one
A wilder, more challenging country I couldn't design
Hundreds of dangers await and I don't plan to miss one
In a land I can claim
A land I can tame
The greatest adventure is mine!

I wanna see a Shinji/Asuka and Shinji/Rei (and hell, maybe Shinji/Misato) amv set to Blame Game. And basically anything else from that album could fit Gendo.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Mirai Nikki plus the Opening Song to Tenchi Universe "Love will Leave you crying"
A Code Geass AMV about Lelouch set to Mordred's Lullaby by Heather Dale. I picture the song as being sung to Lelouch by Nunnally, but Nunnally as Lelouch imagines her to be. Just look at some of the lyrics:
~
Guileless son, I'll shape your belief
And you'll always know that your father's a thief
And you won't understand the cause of your grief
But you'll always follow the voices beneath
Loyalty, loyalty, loyalty, loyalty
Loyalty, loyalty, loyalty, only to me
~
Heck, the very last words of the song (not counting the chorus) are saying how the subject of the song "will die in returning the birthright he stole".
I ran across Melissa Auf Der Maur's Lightning is My Girl
I couldn't help but think that it would be a great fit for Koroko Shirai towards Mikoto (from A Certain Scientific Railgun).
Other songs by Ma DM would fit Mirai Nikki rather well. Meet Me On the Darkside and I Be Anything You Want
Speaking of A Certain Magical Index, while listening to Holding Out for a Hero by Bonnie Tyler I couldn't but imagine Mikoto singing this song at karaoke with Index and Aisa Himegami singing back up vocals, and thunder and lighting strikes replacing the gunshots.
I then imagined Misaka Worst singing the Frou Frou version while Last Order dances around her.
Of course Holding Out For a Hero can go with a ton of animes, I know there are a bunch already.
Ella Mae has a slower version I was thinking it might go well with some of the more "normal" heroes from non-action shows, like maybe Toradora or Cross Game. Thoughts?

I would like to see a Naruto vid set to Celtic Thunder's rendition of "Hail the Hero (Mo Ghile Mear)". Start with standard establishing shots, then some Naruto and company working out, fading into Naruto doing awesome stuff until the line "and gave his life our land to save" at which point it has one of those "Naruto freezes in horrified shock" scenes with a word balloon "wait, what?" The chorus goes to various scenes of Naruto almost dying, with little pop ups of "not dead", "survived this" etc.
Second verse, shots of the ocean and the mountains, "of heroes who fill out hearts with pride" group shot of the other heroic cast, followed by shots of them each doing awesome stuff. Last image is Naruto popping into the picture "still alive!"

Kicking myself for not thinking of it sooner.
How about an Aki x Yusei AMV to the tune of "Stay" by Lisa Loeb (or New Found Glory)?
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Dumb question, but has anyone done anything using Knife Party's "Internet Friends"?
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelSo Mz Hyde from Halestorm goes well with a Yandere:
What else goes with Yandere?
Tainted Love of course. Gold Rush, Better Dig Two, Counting Stars.
Please Don't Leave Me, I thought it was tsundere at first hearing, but after seeing the official video it seems more yandere.
True Love is for tsundere.

A very dumb one that came to mind would be Attack on Titan with Lynyrd Skynyrd 's "Gimme Three Steps," but with Annie as the protagonist of the song, Eren as "Linda Lou" and Mikasa as the guy with the gun.
So in addition to the ideas I suggested here, I just came up with another one:
Finale the remixed version of The Lone Ranger theme from the rather poor movie (this song and that last scene were really the only parts I liked) combined with the final moments of Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War Ultimatum where the titular characters Kamen Rider Fourze (alongside Kamen Rider Meteor and Kamen Rider Nadeshiko, who are both also from that series) and Kamen Rider Wizard team up with their predecessors (W, Accel OOO's, and Birth all team up to kick some villain ass. The final scene is 6 of the 8 riders all riding their bikes, while Accel (who can turn into a bike) is being used as a bike by Nadeshiko (yes I know that sounds really weird but that's what they did).
Basically take this part from the movie, and score it to finale.
I think it'd work really well, though you'd have to watch the scene in full to make sure it came out right.
And that's my two cents.
Still want to see that Doctor Who Climax Jump and Monstar Anthem Final fantasy villains vid as well. Cause I'm a silly guy.

One Strip! One Strip!
A little late, but I actually found a video set to "It's a B Movie." (It's Western animation, but who cares?)
As long as I'm posting here, I might as well ask a question—is there a show that would work well with "Alienating Our Audience"? (Lyrics NSFW.) The only video I've seen based off it is for Naruto, but I think it might work better with a show that relies on Refuge in Audacity.
