Weird dreams

I had a dream where I met some guy who looked like a scarecrow, who was apparently supposed to be an alternate version of myself. We started sitting right across from each other, and then the dream pulled up his character page on TV Tropes to show me what we had in common. I don't think I believed that we were alternate versions of each other even then.

Clearly you know you've spent too much time on this website when this kind of shit goes on in your dreams.

I had a dream that my Sims save file got spontaneously erased mid-game and I was suddenly given a new house on a beach (despite not owning Island Living) with a random sim and the game was just like "okay, start over now"

Last night I had a dream where I was in some weird Spider-Man AU (maybe part of the Spider-Verse?) I was the Vulture, but I was an unusual version of the character, combining Adaptational Species Change and Adaptational Nice Guy.

I ("The Vulture") was just an ordinary guy who didn't want to commit crime. But some evil Mad Scientist turned me into a giant vulture man. Then he forced me to be his henchman and go along with his evil plans. I was a Minion with an F in Evil who didn't really want to hurt anyone, but I couldn't break free from my master.

This version of the Vulture was also supposed to be German, so in the dream, I had to consciously imitate a German accent while speaking.

TBH, now I kind of want to write a fanfic about this.

I had a pretty in-depth dream, featuring several things:

• An apparent friend of mine who owned an owl, and throughout the dream he was just with his pet, sometimes caring for it in odd ways.
• A scene at a spot near a pool. Apparently we were at a higher elevation, like up a hill or something, because I remember the pool stuff being below us. More vividly though I remember large "water balloons" apparently light enough to float way high in the sky, only to end up popping exactly over where I'd mentally placed a busy section of road. We watched in horror as it exploded and poured down a bunch of water.
• Speaking of water, I had a spa bath type thing that was just a yellow room with most of the floor taken up by deep pool/tub space. The water was already there, and rather gross, so I carefully tried to walk on the sides to drain it all.
• Finally, a subplot with friends I apparently made at some one-class-a-month driving school. The friends were everywhere and everyone knew them.

Last night I had a very freaky dream, but it was oddly memorable as well.

The dream began with me being in Venezuela. I can't tell if this was in the past before my trip or in the future after my return from it. Regardless, I was sleeping in the house's bar instead of my room. I was going through a dream paralysis, so I was unable to wake up; however, I was feeling like a girl was cuddling me from behind and, from time to time, kissing my left cheek. Since I couldn't move, I couldn't tell who was the girl; however, I figured out that it had to be someone who liked me.

In the next part of the dream, a teacher was preparing an exam for a group of children... in my house! Oh, and I was one of her students, so I had to take the exam as well. There were three questions: Solving a second-grade equation, a single true-or-false statement about geography, and then a question asking me for a lengthy explanation on puberty and growth. I was an adult, so I knew how to answer everything corrctly. The real problem was that, for some reason, I was still very tired, so I was intermittently falling asleep. Each time I managed to wake up, I tried to finish writing the answer for the third question, because that was the only thing remaining. Unfortunately, around the fourth or so time I fell asleep and then woke up, the room was empty. I quickly looked for the teacher to give her the exam sheet, but she told me the exam ended nine hours ago. As she was leaving the house (it was night again), I asked her if I could take a remedial exam, but she declined, and then pointed her index finger upward, where I could see my mom bidding farewell to the teacher from the balcony. She didn't seem upset at me for flunking the exam, but I was heartbroken from the inside. I knew the answers, goddamnit, I just fell asleep for some reason!

I went to my bed (this time on my room), so I could sleep and hopefully get rid of the narcolepsy. Things only complicated from here. Apparently, as soon as I fell asleep, I entered a state of somnambulism, because I began sleepwalking around the interior of the house. I saw a girl taking something from the fridge, and figured she was the one who cuddled me the other night. She looked a lot like a female cousin of mine, and I proceeded to hug her. In the next part of the dream, I found myself in the room of the bar again, and guess what? she was filling my right cheek with kisses again. And once again I couldn't move. Stranger yet, I could vividly hear Doom music during this moment, as if someone was playing the game on my Switch. At one point I finally got up (remember, I was still in a state of somnambulism), and went to my room to sit on a chair while posing my head and arms against the bed; and shortly after, I could feel my head's hair being caressed by someone (I think it was the girl again).

When the morning arrived, I saw my surroundings but didn't see anyone. I exited my room to go to the dining hall. There was a big reunion (the teacher was there, also), they all seemed to be having a great moment, and my papa asked me how I spent the night. I said "I don't want to talk about it", and went to the bar. I found an aunt of mine, and she was arranging the bed's sheets. She told me that "my girlfriend" returned to the USA. I didn't even know I had one, and didn't know her name either!

It was a really strange dream, and it's ironic what it was about since this year's Valentine Day IRL was unfortunately very solitary for me. Oh well...

I dreamt that "She Blinded Me With Science" had a goddamn Looney Bird rap verse that took up the bridge of the song.

The music video was also altered to accommodate Looney Bird's appearance. In this version of the music video, the woman leaves the Home for Deranged Scientists and Thomas Dolby gets in his car in order to track her down. The car begins to break down on the highway and he's forced to stop at a service drive. Dolby gets out of his car and all seems hopeless for him, and that's when Looney Bird appears, does his verse, and urges Thomas to trudge on with his search for this mysterious woman. Looney Bird gives Thomas a tricycle to ride on, which he shockingly takes onto the highway. How he managed to not get ran over is what I want to assume is the funny part.

I don't think Thomas Dolby managed to reunite with the woman who blinded him with science; either the video ended with him riding down the highway on the tricycle or I woke up before I got to see how the video actually ended.

I was working at a weird store in the mall where the floor was covered in wires, and they were there on purpose to design pictures. And people kept getting annoyed since I kept tripping over them. I was also trying to plug things into a broken power strip (literally broken in half), and couldn't find an item for a customer looking for an exchange, so I wasn't doing well. Though every so often we had to stop and take some sort of quiz, and I was good at those.

Edit: Just remembered, I also dreamed up a fake book. It was a fantasy story where one guy was roaming across the land on horseback being some edgy lone conquerer. But the book was actually just some spin off companion to a different book I hadn't read yet, so I didn't progress through the story.

Had a crazy dream where the Gamecube had a new feature, which was basically a Mii Channel for the console, and one of the default Mii's I saw on the Mii Channel when I booted it up turned out to be a Mii recreation.. of Howard Stern.

"Her grace and speed are quite impressive, so the rest of the pack think of her as an idol. She has lots of fans!"

I had a dream my aunt was expecting a baby.

My aunt is almost 60 and her 2 kids are grown. I'm 99 percent sure that isn't happening in real life.

My dream involved a bunch of superheroes and a weird transformer. I don't remember the context fully but it was some kind of movie. In the theater it was meant to be super immersive, with seats that you had to belt into and stuff. I didn't, so I got flung out of it like 3 minutes in.

I dreamt I was in some kind of balloon pod with my legs dangling out, filled with helium and with my mother holding the thing by a string so I wouldn't float away.

I remember having a dream recently that involved Eda Clawthorne making a bet with a fellow sorcerer. Don't really remember how it went, but it seems pretty in-character for Eda.

I dreamed about $430 dollar Nintendo gift cards, but they were metalic pins. That's the only concretely weird thing in my dream since the rest of it is visiting MOA and having fun.

I just had the craziest Yu-Gi-Oh dream I had in a WHILE. The plot was that Mokuba and Joey got in a Duel while Mokuba shared his brother's 'losing equals death' philosophy, which Joey was willing to risk if it meant Serenity could get her eye surgery money. Due to those factors it felt like a mix of an alternate Death-T and Duelist Kingdom, though Pegasus and Ishizu were also around cause dream logic.

Anyway, I remember the story looping as my character tried desperately to get a world where neither of them died—Mokuba died first and I remember Seto looking absolutely terrifying in a way nobody had seen before, then in the second loop Joey died and Tristan walked up and punched 'me' in the gut and I think tried to kill 'me' while Yugi begged him to stop. Ryou Bakura retained his memories and tried to help me with magic—I remember sculpting Mokuba's head out of dough and using it as a conduit to control his thoughts (dream logic) and later doing the same for Joey but all it ended up doing was making them surrender the Duel and die.

IIRC it was eventually solved by going to the arena ahead of time and planting poisonous spiders that gave people cancer (this was a dream), which got the whole arena shut down for 2 weeks while Weevil worked on cleaning it up.

The Protomen enhanced my life.

Had a dream where Luz, Eda, and King from The Owl House were stuck in a cave together, and so they started confessing things (kind of like in that one part of the Gravity Falls episode "Society of the Blind Eye", where they thought that they were going to have their memory erased). At one point, Luz said that she was terrified of learning how to drive.

Honestly, that's completely fair.

Took a nap earlier and had a dream where there was a new genre of kids' shows that you were supposed to turn on while your kid cleaned their room or similar, apparently to encourage them to do so. They were known as "clean-up shows", and there was even a subreddit for them.

However, one of them apparently had a massive Periphery Hatedom for some reason, and I'm guessing that not even its target audience liked it because it was listed on Horrible.Western Animation as well. I never really got to figure out why this particular non-existent show was so hated, but it was apparently Serious Business.

That sounds nice. Entertainment for kids that encourages them to be helpful. When I was a kid, I would have liked cleaning a lot more if I had something like that.

Last night I had a dream where a bunch of tropers and I were playing some game where you could customize your own kaiju. You could choose parts from several different creatures, choose the exact size of your character, and adjust tiny details like facial proportions.

My character wound up being a purple, anthropomorphic leopard or panther with octopus tentacles for arms and legs. Kablammin 45 made a reptilian sea monster who also had tentacles. I think I also remember Spottedleaf making a giant snow leopard.

I can't remember my character's gender. My character was 180 feet tall, but still one of the smallest monsters.

After creating our characters, at first we were fighting each other, but then we realized we were actually supposed to work together to fight the human armies who were trying to kill us. However, there was also a little human boy who was on our side for some reason.

I dreamed I met Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus and we ate dinner together. We laughed and talked all evening. It's the first time I've seen her genuinely happy.

The part I remember the best involved me, my boyfriend, and some of my friends. We were at this school and had some weird, non-specific club where we went into this room in the basement that had a TV but also a bunch of weird recording and editing equipment on the side, taking up half the room. And at one point we were just wandering around doing stuff and picking on each other and there was art stuff in that room. I had like a ladle full of blue paint from this vat but wasn't sure what to do with it, so my friend asked me to pour it into her bag and I did after she insisted it would be fine.

There was also a scene of me driving around and there's a recurring element where sometimes my dream driving is more like walking the car up the street and that's what I was doing lol. I don't think I was going somewhere in particular tho lol.
