Anyways, I am a bit miffed at Miria's death, which was rather anticlimatic, but the chapter wasn't that bad for me. I can see the reasoning behind Miria's death, in any case, and number 10 turning out to be the Interface Screw also works, seeing as we've had very similar powers cropping up earlier.
Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsThat is, assuming she's really dead. We'll see after a month if she awakens or not; if not, then Clare has to separate from the Destroyer somehow or the Seven Ghosts becomes the Five Ghosts.
On another note, has anyone noticed that Helen's been acting different lately? Or is it my imagination that she's either been derailed or flanderized?

Well, I haven't really noticed any atypical behavior, for the situation. An Eldritch Abomination and somebody who shits over the current powerscale have just shown up out of fuckall nowhere, it's not that surprising if she's acting a bit differently.
Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsNo, I mean before that. When she and Deneve met Dietrich, I was thinking, yes, I know she has a boisterous personality, but that line "What's your beef, princess?" and the hunchback posture, among other small things didn't sit well with me. I can't explain it, but she seems like an exaggerated version of herself rather than a more mature one.
Just read the latest chapter. Looks like the organization keep a standing army of Awakened Beings and Youma to do their dirty work for them. But DAMN. Galatea really rubbed in Mirias death there.
Granted, Miria's death is not really confirmed at this point. Still curious about what the Organization is doing at this point. And DAT CLIFFHANGER. GIMME AT LEAST A PANEL DAMMIT. GIMME ONE!
I've been a long-time lurker around T Vtropes, but I had to make an account just to say...ohmygod, Miria! (along with trying to update Yuma's sword-throwing trope, but it seems I was beaten to it. :P)
I'm still kind of stunned at Miria's death...if it's real (and this chapter certainly seems to be trying to imply it is, though nothing is definite yet), then it was really abrupt and quite a downer (but that kinda fits the tone of the series). I'd still think the odds are about fifty-fifty that she survived though...not in terms of in-universe plausibility but in terms of plot significance.
Though I'm a bit disappointed that not much plot advancement seems to have happened this chapter. I'm dying to know how Clare is faring against Priscilla (and get confirmation on Miria's fate), this is a bit annoying...
Oh, and random side note: I'm a bit late in noticing this, but I just realized an interesting little touch in the art...the Alicia/Beth Mk II twins apparently have customized uniforms too, specifically to allow their awakened forms to rip loose without ripping the uniform as well. Their uniforms have no leggings, sleeves...or BACK. o_0 Their shirts (if you can even call them that) seem to be held on entirely by their epaulettes and the waist. Is that even plausible? (Though thinking about it a bit, that is a pretty sexy design.)
Those twins are the creepiest characters so far honestly, they've got a very... non human design, kind of like their bone structure isn't properly defined.
Anyway, about Miria, i think she'll live. Galatea says "She's probably dead", when characters say that, they're almost never dead.
Really? I never really noticed that, I just felt their faces looked rather odd. Maybe it's just the weird hairstyle.
Notice how the back of their head doesn't really have much of a dome, it slopes directly into their neck, and their shoulders aren't as defined as other characters.
At the same time their arms a slightly longer than other characters, and they border on The Faceless with how little definition they have.
That's an interesting point, I guess...can't really see it that well myself though. Although I do agree they look strange.

I just saw the Claymore manga series in Borders :D
In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!Chapter 109. Good set-up chapter and finaly got some more information about Clare and ...the boy (what was his name again?).
I'm betting he survived because he become a Male!Claymore who can "come back from past the limit". It would explain why he thought he could fight Pricila at all.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!the only thing we know about Raki's new state is that it is physical(why did he need Priscilla if he was a Claymore ?). Maybe Isley give him a part of his corps (that would make Isley a sort of dark Jesus).
I am completely in the black concerning the issues of the battles against the organization : in a traditional shonen, they would be defeated (they would have a chance to be awesome by winning a fight or two before being crutch hopelessly by the Big Bad to make room for the Hero), but here I think that they might win this fight, came back with Raki who will help to untangle the problem with Clare. So, will this end traditionally or will this still continue to be original ? The answer will be in a few month .

Put a space after the colon. You also need to put another spoiler tag on the second paragraph.

Fight smart, not fair. That'd be cool if Raki turns out to be a male claymore. But that would mean he'd have either the blood of Isley, or more likely, Priscila in him, which would make him a lot stronger then he looks.
My other signature is a Gundam.Hmmm... this is interesting.
Galataea seems to be implying she's worried that there might be someone who could possibly free Clare, the desytoyer, and Priscilla, and we got a perfectly valid candidate two chapters ago, the orginaizations number 10. Her power definitely seems like something that could restore Clares sense of self and pull her out.
Raki can't be a Claymore, he'd be able to sense Youki if he were and he definitely couldn't when he first reappeared (additionally, all the candidates we know of he could take flesh from are awakened, so if he did, he wouldn't be Raki no more). I think it might be something like Ophelia having cut her insignia into his back when he was a kid, something superfluous that basically just tipped them off that he'd been involved with the previous generation of Warriors.
Tthe only real options as i see it are 1. the above, 2. Something Isley left him that hasn't been revealed yet, or 3. Something to do with the mainland which also hasn't been revealed.
And also. That was the first time we've seen one of the girls punch someone so far.
I've also just remembered them agents talking about their "Trump Card", i assumed it was Raki, but evidently it isn't.

Their trump card against Miria was #10, wasn't it?
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Uh.. i'm not sure actually. Well, it's been a few months.
Yes, it was. And, from a story point of view, I think Raki will be the one to "release" Clare and Priscilla.

WE HAS IT.
...note that I already linked to that chapter a while ago.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!
^^ As she is now Clare is still obsessed with revenge to an unhealthy point. Her becoming a leader and having other claymores depend on her could change her character radically. Assuming she becomes the leader after Miria's death.
