A game in which, depending on which difficulty setting you choose, changes the graphics.

EX. Easy mode having characters looking cute and cartoonish, like Steamboat Willie, or hard mode looking like Jojos Bizarre Adventure.

Added Bonus: Changing difficulty also lets you go to worlds exclusive to that mode.

A game that is basically dada art; there are no rules and controls are almost non-nonsensical along with what's being displayed on the screen. Just pure, unfiltered, dada.

[up][up][up] I am not sure if it really matters if the game is accurate, since there are millions of other games people love that have inaccuracy. *cough* assassins creed *cough*.

Anyways, another game idea I had but I am sure is too ridiculous to happen is this: Stickmen vs. Nintendo. What I mean is, every stickman character vs. every Nintendo character. Two ideas for it:

1. As a Capcom vs. DC style fighting game, with 4 against 4 battles being possible. You could have Henry Stickmin vs. Mario, or Fancy Pants vs. Sonic! Am I the only one who even knows about those stickmen?

2. As a stragedy type game, with over head views or just Stick War-type camera view. You would click on the stickmen or Nintendo characters and make them fight. Mario would have his costumes and powers, and Henry Stickmin would have his backpack of items and luck.

Or as a third possibility, make it a first person Halo style game, with a first person view of Mario and Henry Stickmin. (I am addicted to Henry Stickmin games)

Hurry up, Nintendo! My money can't spend itself!

A Fighting Game where the characters are Sentient Vehicles (no, they don't transform). So you can have a motorbike fighting an airplane, a tank fighting a car, etc.

First vehicle Fighting Game ever.

Tetris Angry Birds might be interesting. One player would be launching birds while the other uses the falling Tetronimos to defend the pigs.

A game vaguely similar to LA Noire but good exploring the 1930 Delta blues areas while setting in motion many of the events that defined the music and people (e.g Robert Johnson's death) would be cool.

TV Tropes The Game. Seriously.

It could be an rpg, a platformer, or even a first person shooter, or maybe just a Super Smash

Style fighting game, or a street fighter fighting game.

THINK ABOUT IT.

A puzzle game like Scribblenauts with the Word-Making powers, but with the literal twist- you make the WORDS, not the objects. So the word Bouncy will make you bouncy, the word Stop will stop time, Go will play time, Wet will drip water, and so on. It will be an open world, 2D-3D world. The main character will be Web Doodle, in the land of The Magic Nation (pun). It will have a variety of interesting characters to see and play as, and the plot will be about restoring the magic to the Nation with your power by helping everyone.

I am hoping a game maker is reading this...

To keep this thread alive I will post another idea.

My idea is a console game, preferably X Box 360, where you use a keyboard for the gameplay. the game is kind of like a silent movie, and your music will affect the plot. Happy music means happy characters and plot. Sad music means sad characters and plot. And SCARY MUSIC MEANS HORRIFYING CHARACTERS AND PLOT!!!!

The game would be titled: Musical Movie Game.

A game where an universal cataclysm is threatening two worlds : one that would be pure, undiluted cuteness, bright, happy with rainbows and lollipops everywhere (basically Tastes Like Diabetes World), and one that is really dark. Like, blacker than black dark. Like, Warhammer 40 K grimdark, only more. And you'd play a regular guy from a regular world (ours, more precisely) brought in to try to make the two sides cooperate and fight together against the common menace. Which won't be easy, because imagine having to make a magical pink unicorn that likes to draw butterflies everywhere and a 10 feet tall Super-Soldier in a powered armor covered with spikes wielding a gun that shoots screaming, flaming skulls fight in the same squad...

We are The Beige. Lower your shields and surrender your vessels. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own, then mixed and diluted until it disappears forever in and endless unbroken plain of nothingness. Resistance is futile.

An customizable MMORPG/Fighting game. You start off with a set of different characters (Fighter/Knight/Gun Slinger/Samurai/Ninja/Pirate/etc...) and progress them through a world of dangerous monters and warriors. Once you an opponent appears, the gameplay changes to something like Tekken or Virtua Fighter. You can also find items throughout the world to use during the battles, like special gadgets to collect the monsters with. You can have a party like in an RPG but it becomes Tag Team when the battle commences. Also, you can use the items, clothes, techniques and new character types to customize your own roster, trade characters with friends and fight other parties online.

I'm not sure if it's been done before...

After seeing the popularity of Cookie Clicker and the release of several (inferior) imitations, I've been thinking about how the genre could be improved. My idea right now is a game where you earn either [numbers] or [things that make your numbers go up] by playing short minigames, with more types of minigames (and features for previous minigames) being unlocked as you get more [numbers], complete achievements, or whatever. Possibly the game could be kind of like Civilization or Spore, showing a progression from the ancient and primitive up to modern times and beyond.

My idea:
A RPG where you play as a One-Hit-Point Wonder, a mage. On your side are invulnerable trusted fighters, that basically act as your HP, protecting you from damage. If an enemy breaks through their ranks, you are pretty close to dying unless you manage to kill him before he kills you. Your companions come in different variants, for example a barbarian type who doesn't have much trouble with multiple weak enemies, but a single strong has a good chance of breaking through after some time, while the fighter type can keep strong enemies occupied, while being easily overrun. A rogue type would be able to occasionally execute targets that manage to slip through and being able to snatch some arrows out of the sky that are fired at you, while a ranger type could eliminate enemy archers who can fire over your defenders heads, allowing you to concentrate on other threads. I'd include some Arbitrary Headcount Limit, so you have to select your team depending on your needs. The casting system would run along something like exhaustion:
Exhaustion increases your cast time for your spells, if you already have some exhaustion other spells might create more than they normally would. This is to encourage optimizing your strategy in a long dungeon crawl to minimize exhaustion even against weak enemies, but it should be balanced in a way that gathering exhaustion is both somehow necessary and not absolutely crippling for your fighting ability.
During combat, you could focus on buffing your AI-controlled teammates into unstoppable fighting machines or just laying waste on enemies yourself. Or going the defense route and just neutralizing the enemies offensive capabilities, first disabling and then slowly eliminating them.

I recently had the idea for a game called Caretakers. You start off as a city-sized sentient spaceship and get bigger from there. You are in charge of slowly spreading the influence of an advanced post-Singularity civilization that already Ascended to a Higher Plane of Existence and left you and your kind behind by converting planets and asteroids into swarms of drones and enormous megastructures. However, the game adheres to hard science. Instead of skipping from system to system, you drift for eons across interstellar space. Instead of magically going wherever, you have to use gravity assists and decelerate by pointing yourself backwards and firing your engines. You will encounter races that you may never see again for thousands of years, and find something radically different from what you found before. The ultimate endgame "goal" is to turn the entire galaxy into a distributed intelligence network and find out that Andromeda has already done so and is moving in to assimilate the Milky Way into its network.

I don't know if there's a computer anywhere that could handle a game like that.
