This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Pointing out both authors are black isn't any more racist than pointing out both are guys is sexist, it's just a peculiar similarity, but even if they were opposite sex and different ethnicities, the comparison stands of both incorporating fetish work into a thing aimed at young girls.
It's also not really an insult: I found both to be very crafty and hilarious in how they did it. I live for stuff like this.
So how about an unban? It's been long enough. There's some interesting tropes I'd like to write about for the newest 'walls of Jericho' zoo episode: burning money and enemy landing on a knife.
I'm willing to take that risk about being released from my edit suspension.

Okay, why have I been suspended? Is it because I didn't satisfactorily conceal that last spoiler of mine? I do try, but the programming language gets tricky.

For example, you placed Meaningful Name under Trivia (when it's not a trivia piece), You Bastard! under YMMV (when it's not an audience reaction), and two subjective tropes in the main work page. Can you be sure to place tropes in the proper pages (or denote In-Universe examples of YMMV tropes) next time?

You added two entries with one character in common. This is discouraged, unless if there's a good explanation as to how both are extremely popular at the same time. Oftentimes, this goes under Ship-to-Ship Combat instead if the fans if either object to the other.
Trouble is, you readded it after it was removed.

I believed I was just interpreting that the Handling Spoilers page differently. The only thing the page says about the blanking character pages is that the names of characters cannot be blanked. As a result, I assumed that nothing not mentioned on that page was fair game. In addition, I looked at other character pages, like the page for Lelouch on the Code Geass page, for handling stuff similar to this, and found that the person who did the tropes there blanked out certain tropes as well. If that was wrong, I apologize.
And this part...?
"Do not ever conceal the name of the trope in a list of trope examples, the list on the work's page." A work page includes all of the subpages, including Character pages.
