I would imagine that the lock is a holdover from when it was cut, to keep people from amateurishly recreating it. Should imagine it'll come off fairly soon.

FSN was on about a half dozen indices. Tsukihime is probably a good place to look for to find out which ones.

None of those pages are getting unlocked, since our off-site trollers are just waiting to abuse them. We can talk about it in a few months.

With Gilgamesh appearing in Fate/Extra CCC, I noticed something that I shall call "The Law of Gilgamesh". If it's a Fate work, Gilgamesh will appear.

While exceptions exist, Fate/Apocrypha being the one major work that comes to mind, anyone care to guess why Gil appears in so many works? Either he's a fairly popular character, or someone on the team loves him.

FSN - First introduced.

F/Z - Fourth War. Was implied to be from there in FSN so it is justified.

FHA - Fifth War characters reprise. Justified.

Prototype - Initial concept of FSN. He plays a big part there so it's no surprise he's in here too.

Extra CCC - God knows. Add more FSN cameos to make it more Fate-like? Or maybe it's because he's already everywhere.

Even if he doesn't appear, I'll just lump it with Fate/Extra CCC. Same universe and all.

Should compare the Law of Gilgamesh vs the Law of Gender Flip (A character that male in legends/myth/history/etc. shall be turned into a female. Whether it makes sense or not.). See which law appears in more works.

Gilgamesh is in Fate works because the fans love him.

I thought Strange Fake was basically fanfiction.

Law of Saber. Every FSN work needs some variant of Saber in it. We have Saber in FSN and F/Z, Lily Saber (and regular/dark saber) in F/Unlimited Codes, Saber in Hollow ataraxia, Red Saber in Extra, Joan who looks like Saber in Apocrypha.

Fate Prototype breaks that rule though. However I see your point.

There's also the Law of Archer.

Fate Stay Night: First appeared.

Fate Hollow Ataraxia: Brought back with everyone else.

Fate Zero: Kind of appears (If you count Shirou appearing as Archer appearing, since Zero is kind of his origin, even if only at the very end).

Fate Extra: Natch.

Fate Strange Fake and Fate/Apocrypha are the two exceptions.

And on a completely different tangent, the law of Kirei being killed by attacking his heart.

Fate route: Shirou punches the dagger into his heart and makes it explode with magical energy.

Unlimited Blade Works: Lancer pierces his heart with Gae Bolg and kills him.

Heaven's Feel: Sakura crushes his artificial heart since it was made by the grail, and she is the grail. In the true ending, he survives to fight Shirou one last time, but either way...he dies.

And of course in Fate Zero, Kiritsugu got the ball rolling by shooting him in the heart and killing him in the first place.

Man, Kirei needs to start wearing chest armour.

Archer doesn't really appear all that much.

Gil appears in so many works probably because he's one of the main antagonists. Saber is pretty much the most iconic character in the series, so of course she (or variants thereof) is going to appear all over the place.

Also, Kirei always gets killed via attacks to the heart in F/SN because it's the only quick way to kill him after the events of Fate/Zero. Both Caster and Sakura tried to kill him by other ways but failed.

Shirou managed to make him die by getting him to punch his body that was mostly swords by that point that he died of sword punching.

A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.

Well, he really just dropped dead because he hadn't had a heart for a couple days by that point.

Yep. It was really just a question of whether Kirei's lack-of-heart would give out before Shirou exploded into swords.

And also, Saber misses Gilgy by a hair. She lets Shirou go in the church alone, where Gilgamesh is waiting.

Huh, I guess Zouken might have been clueless on what exactly transpired at the end of F/Z (I only have knowledge based on what I've seen in the anime though).
