The Sims...
In medieval times...
:D
XD
Yes I'm excited.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.Depending on how much they attempt to whore it out, I might be interested, actually...
Say what? ...Oh shit. OH SHIT! None of you are allowed to tell my wife about this.
I know you have no idea who I am IRL. You probably didn't even know I was married. But still: PROMISE ME YOU WON'T TELL HER, GODDAMNIT!

TOO LATE! HWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!
i. hear. a. sound. Will my Sim be able to keep unladen swallows as pets?
There better be lynchings and burnings and all that good stuff.
And plague. Don't forget the plague.
"Wax on, wax off..." "But Mr. Miyagi, I don't see how this is helping me do Karate..." "Pubic hair is weakness, Daniel-san!"If there's plague, can "not dead yet" be a status effect?
Does that mean there's going to be zombie sims?
- Heroes: Build up a medieval kingdom, controlling characters from all walks of life, from Kings and Queens, to Knights and Wizards, Blacksmiths and Bards.
- Customize the Heroes you bring to your kingdom, including selecting their traits and their fatal flaw.
I don't know about lynchings, but there will be stocks.

Jonah FalconWhoa. Looks like someone at EA was paying attention to the popularity of the Royal Kingdom Challenge and all that medieval custom content people liked to make for The Sims 2. o.o I want it.
Edit: Too bad it's not an expansion pack, but considering how many features and such they're talking about here I guess it does work better as a separate game.

I dunno... maybe it won't be so bad... maybe I'm overreacting....

This information has been officially classified as top secret for my household. If word of this gets out, I will never see my own computer again.
Logged: The commanding officer is aboard. XO Pressley stands relieved. Why am I getting a "My Life As A King" but more immersive vibe from this?
Because that would be friggin awesome.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. My god this is going to be amazing.
Will you be able to knock wenches up?
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could drink you under the table~Judging by how this thread's been going so far, how long do you figure until someone makes a complete Monty Python kingdom and storyline, if Maxis / EA won't do it already.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Hmm. I guess in this case, it really will be just a model.
That said, this looks quite interesting. I wonder how many ways people will figure out how to ruin a poor medieval society before the game is out.
"The fact that your food can be made into makeshift bombs alarms the Hell out of me, Scrye." - CharlatanI think players will make it their personal goal to do that.
If the Plague isn't in the game, the players will mod the game and create it, you bet they will.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yes. It'll be interesting to see if the Prince will be able to knock up the stable boy.
Jonah FalconYou can control bards? Damn you know I'm going to name it Spoony.
Actually, if you think about it, you can probably recreate the early chapters of FFIV with it. I'm sold.
Although I wonder what the "fights" will be like. Turn based strategy seems to be the most likely possibility, but I doubt they'll make it that complicated.
Killer Rabbit as pets?
In that case sign me up!
