30.1 I found this one from Hades. It's a little ambiguous just using the verb "be" but it shows the choice half of the trope.
30.2 With tighter cropping. 
30.3 With a different background and from later in that scene to center the sprites of the three characters and the bed, and tighter cropping to help the text be readable

I am a Hades fan so I actually thought about it, but I am not really sure that it shows the "it doesn't matter if you boink or not". 30.3 is the best of those compositionally though.

Hmm. Well, the counterpoint is it's not shown to be necessary for plot progression, but I see what you mean. The same scene (here it is in case anyone wants to try their hand)
has a banner up top in the fade to black, so I did some Stygian Witchcraft(tm) and added it with the word "Optional", and re-centered the background an extra bit to show more of the bed.
