Andrealphus. The main point of contention is that Stolas is either a fascinatingly complex character whose attempts to connect with his daughter and get his life in order are tangled up by his feelings for Blitzo in ways which create the best character drama the show has, or a Creator's Pet whom the story tries too hard to make sympathetic by making all his peripheral enemies one-note Hate Sinks and trying to make him seem more virtuous than his actions demonstrate. If you can expand that into a paragraph, it should be cherry.

From my personal perspective, there’s no reason why both can’t be true at once.

Stolas IS a fascinatingly complex character whose actions have consequences that he tries to fix… but Stella IS also a flat Hate Sink who only exists to twirl her moustache and go ”Oh, I’m so EVIL and NASTY for no particular reason at all.” (To be fair, people like that ARE distressingly common in real life, sadly)

Though granted, we haven’t seen enough of Andre to know if the same applies to him.

Anyway; Yeah, clean up the complaining and bias from the entry and it should be good.

On a much lighter note, I'm astounded that no one in this thread has mentioned that Erica Lindbeck plays Helldiver Voice 1 in Helldivers II.

Personally, I think Loona would be exemplary at defending Super Earth from alien demagoguery.

I myself was amused to find that she’s also been Cure/Glitter Ace in Doki Doki Pretty Cure.

That makes her and Stolas’s Magical Girl Transformation Sequence in Seeing Stars much funnier to me.

Oh, is that why I kept seeing crossover art with her?

Speaking of Loona, outside of the Queen Bee episode, which got delayed due to legal BS, Loona got a grand total of 0 lines in all the episodes that were released last year.

I swear someone mentions this exact point every few pages or so. I don't get it.

Like, yes, I would also enjoy more Luna content, but that's just not how the last year's worth of episodes shook out.

I doubt it's a conscious thing either, since Luna DID have a massive role in the second episode of Season 2.

The budget snafu still happened no matter how you feel about it. You keep acting as if Viv or Brandon or whoever made it happen on purpose just to be assholes when there’s like, NOTHING that points to that being the case.

It sucks that it happened and I think everyone here would love more Loona focus in some upcoming episodes, but… could you maybe stop bringing it up all the time?

It's called "The Full Moon" and is releasing after an official animation of the song "Just look My Way". If it's not a Stolas/Blitzo episode then the creators are deliberately trolling us at this point.

I mean, with a name like that, it could be a Loona focus episode.

Regardless of how we feel about Unhappy Campers, can we agree that the joke of the subtitles getting in on shitting on Moxxie by calling him cringe was hilarious?

I feel like more jokes land in "Unhappy Campers" than most people are willing to admit. "First Aid is for WINNERS!!!" is literally just an Invader Zim gag, like come on guys this is good stuff

When the "Sinsmas" episode rolls around, for some reason, I'm hoping to see at least one Home Alone reference. More specifically, I can't get the image out of my head of Crimson crashing a Sinsmas office party/Moxxie and Millie's apartment while shouting "MERRY SINSMAS, YA FILTHY ANIMALS!"

I at first thought of Blitzo doing it, but since Angels With Filthy Souls is a gangster movie parody, the Knolastname mafia feels more appropriate, somehow.

Lucifer will make a cameo and give the other Sins firebreathing, backflipping ducks as gifts

Something has been really bugging me, in Ozzie's Blitz went to Ozzie's to stalk Moxxie and Millie on their anniversary date. And after Blitz outs himself to defend Moxxie when he's getting shit on by Fizz and Asmodeus, we never get a scene of Moxxie or Millie confronting him about why he was at Ozzie's to begin with.

To be fair, Blitzo stalking them is pretty par for the course (not that it's ok). Plus, with all that was going on at Ozzy's, there probably wasn't enough time to properly confront him. Still, would have been nice to see (to maybe a bit too much for Blitzo given all he goes through already in that episode).

Seeing Stars was the perfect episode to do it, but they didn't.

If it’s any consolation, I have a theory that Blitzo’s behavior will eventually catch up to him all at once for a big old dose of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome. I’m not sure what it is, but I don’t think the show deliberately just abandons these points with the intention of never bringing them up again. It’s a bit of a pattern at this point, and I have a feeling that it’s for a purpose down the line.

And also because, really, it’s a bit of a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy at this point: Blitzo hates himself and believes he’s destined to die alone and unloved, so he acts like a selfish, toxic asshole to anyone who comes ”too close”, thus ensuring that he becomes and remains alone and unloved and thus fueling his own self-loathing. Rinse and repeat. The M&Ms, Loona and Stolas are just the latest participants in this Vicious Cycle of self-destructive actions.

… And if I were to hazard a guess, I’d say that the consequences of Blitzo’s behavior will most likely happen in conjunction with all the humans they’ve killed coming after I.M.P for revenge. I mean, a Crapsack World where Humans Are Bastards and all of I.M.P’s targets are some kind of Asshole Victim? And the mother series revealing that NOBODY, not even THE LEADERS OF HEAVEN, know what would even qualify somebody as worthy of Heaven, to boot? No fucking way those people would go to Heaven - They’re still out there, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they come back, perhaps for the Series Finale.
