Annette Birkin dies at the end of RE2, no matter the route.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Rebecca was like Barry
She's vanished off the face of the franchise of the except for a mention here or there
Heck She doesn't even get a RE 3 Where are they now card... EVEN CARLOS GOT ONE OF THOSE
Barry got one cause he is technically in the game...
....
When Billy catches Rebecca ...
<.< >.>
Admit it you hear it too!

Actually Carlos didn't get an RE 3 epilogue. Figure that out.
Barry got Revelations 2 anyway so
Shinji Mikami apparently hated Rebecca, and none of the other team members cared about her enough to push her for Summer Slam.
Well he's no longer there so bring her back... :V
Mileena MadnessI remember hearing that. Too submissive right? I wonder how he'd feel about the novels or having her in a post Raccoon City game and she really Took a Level in Badass. Or maybe he thinks of her along the lines of, say, Kennedy and the damage had been done, no amount of characterization or change will fix it.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursIt's funny when fans like a character the creator hates.
Maybe I'm insane.... I can distinctly remember an epilogue where Carlos is sitting in a Jeep waiting for Jill cause its connected to hers....
... Wesker has done befuddled my mind!!!
The eight epilogues were for Jill, Chris, Barry, Leon, Claire, Ada, Sherry and Hunk. There were a couple of art pieces you get when you finish the game, one with Jill and Carlos on a cruise. Yep...though there was also the great image you get if you finish everything in the remake. Pretty sure they weren't goofing around like this in the mansion.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursThe only reason to hate Becca is if you don't like the concept of Teen Heroes which really Becca isn't that bad of an example of a teen prodigy... She's wonderful in medicine and being a medic... unlike the novels Where she's an Uberwomen along the lines of Welsey Crusher where she can out tactic out kung fu and out shoot any body... even the trained marine! The only thing worse then Novel Becca is Trent whose better at the game then Wesker!
I mean its more like with Barry they didn't know what to do with her... since she survived.
So in honour of the RE 0 HD coming out I decided to finally finish the RE Remaster HD edition I bought on PS 4 a year ago, so that's Jill's path down. I went right to 0 rather than try again with Chris, and I like the ability to change costumes on the fly, and how they stick with the in-game cutscenes. Rebecca's RE Director's Cut red outfit is my current attire and it looks decent enough.
I remember just how much I loved the ability to examine items in your inventory and getting the 3D model of them, and how all the guns cycled through their firing animations. They should have kept that in the more recent games.
I'm a bit weary about what might be in store for RE 7. With CAPCOM saying that the revelations series will handle the more traditional horror and the main series exploring new ways to do horror I'm worried we might get stuck with more action-focused game rather than survival-horror or even survival-action.
I had an idea for a main-series game that would bring back Rebecca and Billy (just got to the second scene of the two of them together and Rebecca's interactions with Billy are almost cute), along with a third new character so we're not always bringing back original characters and not creating good new ones. It would play along the lines of 0 did and allow you to swap between characters on the fly, but also include sections with just one character (which was a weakness of 5 and 6. Even though I thought 5 was very good with the co-op aspect having some sections where the two would be completely separated and have to manage on their own would have put some variety into things). One character would get wounded early on and be reliant on wheelchairs and crutches for movement, but would get other skills to compensate for the lack of mobility and combat-skill. Billy would fill out the combat role and have similar drawbacks that he did in 0. The third would be alright in terms of combat and mobility, but would have the ability to sneak past monsters (since stealth should really be a valid choice in these games, but maybe that's the stealth fanboy in me).
What about the rest of you, what would you want out of RE 7?
Starring Jill and Claire.
That's really it.
I would rather have Rebecca come back than more Jill and Claire.
Mileena MadnessNo Josh Stone?
What would I want for the new game? Well one of the strengths of the series has always been it's characters so I would go with having the core group. Chris, of course. Jill's a no brainer. Barry and Rebecca, yes...modify her personality a little so she fits better. Billy, if you can slot him back into the story it's all yours. Leon, no...lol of course yes. Claire absolutely. Ada would have to be there somehow. Carlos? We could go with him. Steve, hmmm...how to write him into the game? Sheva? Why not? Sherry? But of course. Jake? Throw him in. Helena we could probably do without. The side games, Ark Thompson, Fong Ling, Bruce whats his name, as well as Outbreak, characters for the films, Revelations, they were not detailed or written well enough to really miss I don't think, Outbreak could get some more coverage but that might make the game in danger of being swamped by two many characters. Go with the core group and give detail of what had been going on in their absence.
Another idea would be some form of Character Customization. There are two ideas for this: one is we don't need to have a story or new characters because we can make up one our own, and two this could well be way of incorporating really any character we want into the games, in so far as picking looks, outfits, personality, skills and traits that are not the same as the established characters but are similar. By that I mean you can have an outfit that is similar to Jill's STARS body armor, stick it on an African girl who could well be Sheva, she has Claire's smart and tough attitude and uses a machine gun and shotgun like Rebecca.
Okay, what would be the plot of the game? I think they have pushed the threat to the point where it is kind of backed into a corner. How can they escalate from here? Maybe Chris can fly fighter jets and bomb areas where there are outbreaks? That's about the only sensible avenue left, really, instead of being again stuck with the basic handguns. Either scale the story and threat back or start again from scratch.
Now what about gameplay? RE 1, 0, Remake too, had the clunky controls and especially on hard really made the enemies a threat. The puzzles were tough but for a new game might be out of context. 2 and 3 upped the ante as far as combat goes, this might not be a bad scale to go with, and some of the puzzles made more sense, make them more a fetch quest rather than how to overcome a lock. 4, 5, this is the controls scheme we should have, and maybe not as many enemies but make them a lot tougher or at least a lot more deadly. What enemies? Go with the classics, what everybody knows. Zombies, spiders, Lickers, Hunters, we can come up with new ideas sure but have that certain degree of familiarity.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursYou list all of those characters yet somehow leave out Leon while including Ada.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! You know with all those characters we could just do what Capcom should have done years ago and have a full-fledged mercenaries spin-off game. Put in an excuse plot to explain why you have the movies and games in the one story (if Marvel Vs Capcom can do it so can Resident Evil), give everyone multiple costumes (some might be easier than others), throw in stages that people would love from the games and movies and make sure the gameplay works and you're all good.
It would be a good excuse to bring back all the Outbreak guys and give the characters from Operation Racoon City a chance to be in a good game.
Ah Leon, whose toughness in the later games had reached memetic status if you look at Bennett the Sage. The Nice Guy of the franchise, yes of course we have to have him.
We do have him, I was joking about Leon being cut from a future game. If we are to have returning characters Leon would have to be one of the shoe ins. And why not? When his solo adventure came out he was right up there with Snake and Master Chief, and deservedly one of the top characters in the whole series. Some would argue he is the best...Chris may be too flat for some, the films ruined Jill to a degree, he's been in or was mentioned in most of them (2, 3, both Outbreaks, CV, 4, 5, Gaiden, 6, Survivor) and when I say characterization is one of the positive traits of the series Leon's niceness and determination, that mental toughness, he is in a league few gaming characters full stop can match.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursI just beat RE 0 for the first time.
Not bad. Some issues.
Like I wish there were Item Boxes and some of the enemy designs were terrible, but there was enough good for me to be happy that I played it.
I like Billy. He's dreamy...
So when's the next major Resident Evil game coming out? Is it Resident Evil 7 or a Continuity Reboot?
On Resident Evil wiki, there's a trivia note for Chapter 4 that says the following:
Also, Characters.Resident Evil 6 has a Muscles Are Meaningful for Helena Harper that claims she's "noticeably more muscular than other women in the franchise, especially her arms", yet I can't find any image that supports it. Not even a hint of muscular definition. Does anyone know if there's any truth to this entry?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Now I kinda regret only really playing through Chris' campaign once back when I had access to the game. As for Helena, I didn't notice her being any more muscular than the other girls.
Also, I seem to be one of the very few people who really enjoyed RE6 (mainly Leon's campaign).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Leon's campaign was my favorite thanks to the atmosphere being most true to the series roots, but I still liked Chris' over Jake's and Ada's despite being the least faithful. The complaints towards Chris' campaign continuing towards survival action over survival horror are valid, but I think it gets rated down too much for it.
#IceBearForPresidentYeah, I played most of Jake's and none of Ada's but Chris' was easily my second favorite. Something about Jake's campaign was just really unfun.

Oh, I thought you meant a character from the second game.
