I'm looking forward to Love Live Sunshine.
The it somehow clicked with me much more than the original for some reason.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobKinda disappointed to hear that. We need more non-Japan settings.
I hear ya. I like the Sunshine cast a lot more than I did the original nine.
I'm not, since the Toku for garo has always been modern day, but it deals with much of the same adult themes as the anime's tend to do.
Plus, without the contemporary settiing for the toku, we wouldn't have fights like this:

Watch Symphogear…Da fuck did I just watch.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Garo Makai No Hana, one of the toku series.
The anime just happened to be made because Keita Amemiya thought it was a good idea.
Watch SymphogearOkay, that was actually pretty cool.
Was the baddie supposed to be a sly Tezuka reference?
Okay, airdates for everything on the list. Except Dia Horizon, which I'm not sure is real
Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru got delayed to April. Have to wonder what the hell happened there; very rare for there to be delays like that so near the expected airing
All right, time to generate my list
Will definitely be watching
- The Ancient Magus' Bride
- Blood Blockade Battlefront and Beyond
- Kino's Journey (like Hylarn, this has always been on my "To check out list" but the opportunity has never arisen until now
- Shokugeki no Soma
- UQ Holder!
Will Check Out
- Garo Vanishing Line (Didn't finished the second season of the anime. Hope this one is better like the first season or the Toku)
- Houseki no Kuni
- Inuyashiki
- Two Car (I first saw this actual sport in the Ah! My Goddess movie and am intrigued to see more)
May Watch
- Nothing to really go into this category for once. Mostly all the sequels of stuff I haven't watched.
I'll watch Shokugeki no Soma 3 to see how they adapt the still ongoing manga arc.
Fall 2017 preview by Random Curiosity
My list for this season is pretty short:
- Will almost certainly follow:
- "Mahoutsukai no Yome"
- "Kekkai Sensen & BEYOND"
- Might try:
- "Konohana Kitan"
- "Dies Irae"
- "Dia Horizon"
plus the "Godzilla" movie.

What I'm hoping with Souma is that it's going to be like Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood where the manga (or at least this arc of the manga) and the anime finished more or less together.

Since I am going to have a lot less free time on my hands, I'm going to have to whittle down my PTW to manageable levels. That unfortunately also means that I'll be skipping on the mid-level stuff I usually give a chance to. Anyway...
Will watch (or at least try it the first few episodes out)
- Juuni Taisen: Powerful people, deathmatch, Nisio Isin, what's not to like.
- Infini-T Force: As long as it's chock full of delicious tokusatsu action.
- Urahara: Because it's weird and I like weird.
- Just Because!: ... just because! Just because it's from the Sakurasou guy.
- Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoro: Mmm, spell formulas.
- SSR: Post-apocalyptic is one of my many weaknesses.
- Kino no Tabi: Hope it lives up to the previous anime.
- Dies Irae: I'm not sure how but it looks really interesting. The source material is highly regarded too.
- Yuuki Yuna Prequel and Sequel: Magical girls just can't catch a break these days.
- Houseki no Kuni: Silicon-based life forms fight hunters from the moon? Sign me up.
- Love Live: Zuraaaaa
- Mahoutsukai no Yome: Strong contender for best of the season.
- Kekkai Sensen: Damn it sequels, my list is getting too effing long
- Imouto sae Ireba Ii: Purely so I can yell at Eromanga Sensei and say THIS IS HOW YOU PANDER TO INCEST FANS. (My interest actually lies in the author, who wrote Haganai)
- Netojuu no Susume: Recced by a friend.
- Inuyashiki: Senior citizen cyborg saves lives!
- 3-gatsu no Lion: Will probably archive this first.
Would have watched if I had the time
- Osomatsu-san : A wacky comedy great for wasting time, but alas.
- Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte Kara: Apparently the term drunk-dere exists.
- Konohana Kitan: Will probably be a very heartwarming show about a cuddly, innocent kiddo.
- Ousama Game: The premise really speaks to me, but there's so many red flags...
- GARO: Already have my tokusatsu fix.
- Time Bokan: Ugh, that art style is so charmingly retro.
- Code Realize: The one otome VN adaptation I would have given a shot and probably would have dropped three episodes later.
- idolmaster Side M: The one male idol anime I would have given a shit about.
- Blend S: Cutesy comedy.
- Hoozuki no Reitetsu: I enjoyed my time with season 1, but I'm not sure I'm up for another cour.
- Animegataris: Someone dial me up if that end of the world thing comes up as more than background detail.
- Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau: Looks stylish.
- Himouto Umaru-chan: Decent enough, but not a comedy that really tickled me.
- WUG: I have Love Live.
- Evil or Live: Sorry, ain't got the time for your workshop quality Chinese anime.
- Boku no Kanojo: I'll probably end up watching this anyway since my friends will be watching it too.
- Robo Masters: a.k.a buy our cool drones.
- Dia Horizon: Nice promotional artwork.
Pass
- Gintama: Never watched the anime.
- UQ Holder: Manga bored me to tears.
- Black Clover: Sticking with the manga for this one. Though I'm not sure what chapter I last read.
- Shokugeki no Soma: Also sticking with the manga.
- Sengoku Night Blood: Otome game adaptations have yet to impress me.
- Tsukipro: Male idol shindig. Meh.
- Dynamic Chord: The audience for this type of thing must be huge. There's been more of these things lately.
- Classicaloid: Dropped the first season.
- Two Car: Man, sports anime have been really digging into the niche stuff.
Lets see
Will watch
Maybe
- UQ Holder, I do not have high hopes for this.
- Shokugeki No Souma San No Sara, I need to catch up

- Konohana Kitan
- Urahara
- Just Because
- Two Car
- Animegataris
- Imouto Sae Ireba Ii
- Kujira No Kora Wa Sajou Ni Utau
- Netojuu No Susume
- Boku No Kanojo Ga Majime Sugiru Shobitch Na Ken
- 3GatsuNoLion 2nd, I need to finish the first season
- Dia Horizon
Hesitant on
- Dies Irae
- Mahoutsukai No Yome
- Wake Up Girls, I really didn't like the first series. This one sounds a little better though.
- Juuni Taisen, The description seems way dark for Nisio Isin and really that would suck.

Shokugeki no Souma, Idolm@ster SideM, and season two of Love Live! Sunshine!! are my only guaranteed watches. Maybe UQ! Holder since I've enjoyed what little I've read of the manga.
I'll be watching Robo Masters, Just Because & Blend-S.
The lack of kids' anime this season is rather grating to me. Monster Strike 2nd Season is going to be resumed 7th October, but that alone is not enough for me....
I was going to ask about the new Inazuma Eleven series but a quick search tells me it got delayed again. First it was going to air in July, then the fall, now it's slated for Spring 2018. /:
I'll definitely watch Kujira and I'll probably try out Dies Irae. I'm always skeptical about anime adapting multi-route visual novels, but I feel like I might like it.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Just recently signed up for VRV since I've been digging Funi's simuldubs as well.
Will Watch:
Three-Episode Test:
- Black Clover
- Dies irae
- JUNI TAISEN: ZODIAC WAR
- Just Because!
- Kino’s Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series
- Recovery of an MMO Junkie
- Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou
- URAHARA
Still Need to watch the first Season:
- 3-gatsu no Lion S2
- Himouto! Umaru-chan S2
- Osomatsu-san 2
- The Vanishing Line
in order of broadcast: Infini-T Force, Konohana Kitan, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou, Kino no Tabi, Vanishing Line, Two Car, Mahoutsukai no Yome, Anime-Gataris, Netojuu no Susume, Robo Masters the Animated Series
Houseki no Kuni: "In the distant future, a new immortal and genderless life form called Gems populate the Earth." lol okay?
But anyway, I will probably drop half of these, but I will be checking out:
Net-juu no Susume: Yes yes yes this honestly sounds like the best premise for a romance anime ever.
Kujira no Kora: I'm not sure whether or not it'll appeal to me, but the art is obviously lovely. I'm really excited to see more! The little bit I've read of the manga sure is interesting.
Konohana Kitan: Moe nonsense, count me in!
Hoozuki season 2: Oh boi! I'm so excited for a second season of this! Great comedy anime!
Inuyashiki: I remember checking out the manga (and dropping it) but I'm still really interested in the anime.
Houseki no Kuni I dunno. I'm kind of just interested in the CGI. Most likely I'll drop it, but who knows?
Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou: Sounds interesting.
Blend S: Again, gotta at least check it out for the moe.
Animegataris: I'm interested in the "While they stand against the student council's continuous efforts to disband their club, and they ignore the impending end of the world, they talk about anime" bit.
Urahara: Heard about it on a podcast and was piqued by the premise, and the art is reallyreally cool.
Yama no Susume OVA: Yama No Susume season 2 was pretty fantastic.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.For the record, Houseki no Kuni started like a year before Steven Universe, if I remember correctly. Just saiyan.
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo. Not sure if it's been posted, but just like last season, every series Sentai has licensed is once again going to be Anime Strike exclusive. The only exception is Shokugeki no Soma since, like with Haikyuu, CR has got the exclusive simulcast rights.
Umaru-Chan S2, Just Because, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou, UQ Holder!, and Houseki no Kuni are all going to be on Anime Strike.
The Cape and motorcycle on the poster kinda gave it away.
Seems like their gonna make it more like the tokusatsu and have it be a Cyberpunk/ Contemporary Japan setting instead of the Spanish and Feudal Japan settings. Probably for the best, since Crimson moon didn't do well, i assume Mappa probably didn't want to make the same mistake.
