Wait, Marie and the boy Is transforming between each other constantly? I thought now the princess is stuck in the boy's body and the boy is stuck in the princess' body, but it seems both can't exist at the same time? EDIT: I figured it out, they switch to the other when one is getting hungry.
Pretty interesting couple of chapters, would be interesting to see where it will develop.

It seems decent. Kind of reminds me of Ranma One Half. Not sure it's long for this world
I'm scared. This sounds like a riot but Ole Golazo blowing its load and calling it a day before it could really be something still leaves me salty.
Going to pick this up anyway, no doubt
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I'd say it has a strong enough start to stay a bit longer. Stronger than Love Rush (R.I.P) at least.
Though Jump's guillotine has indeed been busy since the end of Bleach. It's pretty brutal.
What worries me specifically is that most of Jump's voterbase is pretty young. Like, I don't think most of them have discovered girls. Jump is generally only able to maintain one romcom at a time, and even then it'll spend most of it's time in the bottom half of the rankings
I'd like to believe that Hungry Marie has enough goofball nonsense to carry it through.
There's also the possibility of injecting more action into it later on a la Beelzebub.

'Tis right up my alley. Hoping it survives.
I sure hope it keeps up with the goofball nonsense. I'll need my weekly dose now that Jitsu wa has ended.
To go back to the series, like Cotton I assume hunger is the key, that's what seems to be implied at least (the series' title helps too). Now I wonder why Marie-Thérèse comes back as a teenage girl. The real one lived quite a long life…

Edited page for religion details.
A hilarious start, as expect from the author of Beelzebub. I don't know if all the reused designs are lazy or endearing. I admit, I didn't expect Marie to fuse with the protagonist. Right from the start it's going in an unexpected direction. I just hope Tamura doesn't repeat the mistake he made with his previous series.
Which are?
…Right, Taoist, not Buddhist. Thanks for the correction. >.>
You mean mistakes? Or the reused designs?
The mistakes. I can see the reused designs on Beelzebub's page.
Well, it's just my personal opinion, but I think the series started to head downwards when Tamura tried to Genre Shift it into a semi-serious action shonen, with more serious fights, plots and intrigues. It was still good and funny, but the original concept got diluted and the series got worse for it. I also think it's the reason why it started to go down in ratings.
To be honest I didn't find the first chapter all that funny other than the grandma and the priest's banter. Second chapter also didn't do much other than Taiga-Marie kung fu moves, which I found hilarious.
@Hylarn
This is looking to be more gag comedy ala Gintama, with some romance sprinkled in.
I agree with that. Beelzebub was stronger in comedy than serious action, and at times couldn't make the two mesh that well.

Chatpter 3:
So, apparently they switch whenever Marie is hungry and Taiga can still see and hear everything, and talk to Marie, but she usually just ignores him.
Also, this creates some problems with going home.
Nobody is really happy with this arrangement, except Marie, but Taiga doesn't have the hear to do anything about it.
Hilarious chapter, this series is definitely the highlight of jump newcomers.
Just waiting for when they have to go to school.
"Yeah, my grandma can totally detect me with my ki or something. Probably." Sorry, Taiga, wrong series.
…Now if Thérèse died young in Edo Japan, how can she know about Marshmallow and donuts?
(also, the exact quote is "If they don't have bread, they should eat brioche.")
She's seemingly been observing the human world as a ghost since her death, so she might have seen people eat them.
Even funnier is that his granny does posses supernatural powers, so his idea was not as off the wall as it seems.
Chapter 4:
"After half a conversation with your crush, you're jumping to marriage?"
"Please die, then get reincarnated so you can die again."
Damn, this series should be titled Savage Marie instead. She's definitely channeling Hilda there. I already love her.
Croissant?! [lol ]This humor is so Tamura.
So they have to go halfsies on the body now. Well, that will be interesting.
Is there a bigger conflict surrounding Marie Therese resurrection? Seems so.
"I just wanted to cause trouble to your grandmother" - Marie staph.
Antiquated Linguistics + Punchlines + Gratuitous English + Gratuitous French + Croissant of Death = perfection. <3 She actually reminds me a little of Beatrice, though less cheerful. Kaguya has a promising introduction too.
Now I wonder why Marie stayed as a ghost in the first place…
As for future developments, the most predictable route would be for Taiga to grow fond of Marie and refuse to have her exorcised or something. But we're not there yet.

Anna might be a Red Herring, Marie is actually the main girl :V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
One of the newcomers in the WSJ, about a guy who is sacrificed instead of chicken legs and ends up in the body of a 300 year-old ghost after being struck by lightning. Amongst other things.
A beginning of a page has been created.
