I guess bats. Sure, they are pretty common in fiction, but most of the time, they're mindless creatures who either scare or attack the heroes, because Predators Are Mean. Even when bats do have personalities, it's rare to see good bats.

I've never actually read any of Lovecraft's works. If you mean Eldritch Abominations in general, I guess someone from Kirby. If it has to be from Lovecraft, then I choose Cthulhu, but only because of his Denser and Wackier portrayals in other works.

Favorite lovecraftian entity? A few reasons: there were a few technical questions popping up in the forums that I could answer at that point (I may have wanted to show off...*whistle*); I discovered the worldbuilding forums and figured I could stop bouncing ideas off of myself; and in general I just threw myself into more activities after that year.

Since you've known about TVT for so long, what finally made you spring for an account?
I don't listen to them regularly but I do like some of their stuff. "Knights of Cydonia" is a masterpiece, and I really enjoyed some of the singles from The 2nd Law but I haven't kept up with them since then.
