Given FLCL's over-the-top nature, I'm inclined to agree with the argument...no idea what to suggest as a possible replacement.

Doesn't that fall under Values Dissonance as well? The No Swastikas specifically mentions Japan as a country where it's an acceptable due to other uses. As such, it's a rather bad example to use.
Check out my fanfiction! It depends. The symbol has a different meaning in Japan than just Nazis and gets used all the time, but it also gets censored just as much such as Naruto's manga and anime respectively. It is colored armbands◊ in general that have no stigma, you see em used all the time in school animes.
I don't think I have ever seen an actual Nazi armband in a broadcasted anime though aside from that, even Hitler's appearance in a DragonBall movie had just an X.

Because of the Values Dissonance of Japan compared to, at the very least, the United States, it would be difficult to find a suitable image for this page. Pull regardless of replacement.

Agreeing with 5's sentiment.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Even on Japanese TV you get that censored as well though. In Naruto Neji's seal in the manga was a Buddhist symbol 'manji', looks like a reversed swastika, got changed to just an X because of that. When did FLCL air on TV? Otaku O'Clock, Primetime or Saturday Mornings? Thats the huge sign.
Hmm we could go with a Precure one. In Heartcatch Prettycure the Mentor Mascots hid in the main's shirt and well out game an A-Cup Angst joke [1]◊[2]◊ somehow and it aired... the boobs even◊ talked◊. Precure's primary market, 7-10 year olds and airs at 8 am.

Looking at boobs is cause for censoring now?
Check out my fanfiction!I don't know that show, so I can't see anything about those suggested images that make sense to me in terms of describing a Radar situation. If the issue is the large breasts, they're rather too prominent in the scene.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Gag Boobs in a kids show? I would think so. Especially in a show which was forced to cover up a midriff◊ due due to complaints.
They are crazy strict now on shows actually aimed at kids and run in an early morning timeslot. 20 years ago you could get away with nudity and such in a kids anime but now no way. Even things like this are getting censored.

Clock is set.
As per #5's suggestion, can we leave the page image-less?
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. That might be an idea.
(Annoyed grunt)Sure.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'd be fine with simply pulling the pic.
for pull.

The Anime & Manga sub-page of Getting Crap Past the Radar has an image that seems to be more like Refuge in Audacity than Radar. The quote doesn't help me understand why the image has slipped passed the censor radar when it seems to be such an obvious sight in the scene.
