I am a fan of manga/anime where there is obvious Ho Yay that makes you question whether or not it is a Boys' Love or Girls' Love story even though it officially isn't tagged that.

Does Love Live count? I mean the girls are all basically canonically lesbians but there's not really a lot of tension because we'll it's...... Well all the pairings are pretty much canon so it's not a question of "will they are won't they" cause they already did.

It's hard to know what counts. Like in No. 6 it's text but the main genre is dystopian Sci-fi so that's what it's tagged as.

When it comes to yuri, there's a reason why Senki Zesshō Symphogear is often called Symphogay (or Sapphogear, or Symphoqueer, or... you get the idea). And there's also Yuki Yuna is a Hero, which while a bit more subtle than Symphogear actually has the Ambiguously Lesbian best friend be canonically in (romantic) love with the MC girl.

There's some yuri tension in Wixoss, but Wixoss is kinda dumb. Avoid Sound! Euphonium like the plague unless you enjoy bitter disappointment.

Pretty Cure, especially in both the original continuity and the Doki Doki Precure series, but all if them have subtle homoerotic humor that goes over kids heads.

Tokyo Ghoul has rather disturbing Masochism along with Homoeroticism too.

hardly, that's been a thing since Sailor Moon and before. MG's always been kind of sexually ambiguous.

Pretty cure helped make the High Octane action quotient possible for Nanoha to achieve success with.
