This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):

For my first image proposal, here are some additional images for Discovery Family:
Both of the above images were precursors for Discovery Family (at least in the US). They should be placed under the current image with a label note reading "Click here to see [the channel's precursor]".

I guess you're right. I chose this thread in particular because I thought there was any rule to adding images under the current image w/o asking the thread first. But I guess no one would mind if I do it myself.

I know I've previous suggested this suggestion before, but now that there's a new crowner, do you think that this image
◊ would be suitable for the page image for either NightmareFuel.The Shawshank Redemption or TearJerker.The Shawshank Redemption?
CONTEXT: Following the murder of Tommy Williams due to his knowledge who actually killed Andy Dufresne's wife and lover, Warden Samuel Norton visits Andy in solitary confinement. Andy tries to back out of Norton's money-laundering scene, but the Warden not only threatens to have him "cast down with the sodomites", but Norton also threatens to shut down the prison library and burn all the books, which is particularly brutal since the library was dedicated to former inmate Brooks Hatlen, who previously ran the library before he commited suicide earlier in the film, and following Norton's visit, he gives Andy another month in solitary confinement and the look on his face (pictured above) is absolutely gut-wrenching, complete with tears running down his face.

Does that really need to be done? I can't think of any other page that does it, and it feels superfluous to me, honestly.
I don't think it works well for TJ (too dark and too subtle) and it doesn't work at all for NF. If you have to explain why it's illustrative in intense detail, then it probably isn't a great image. Page images ought to be self-evident, with the caption sometimes providing assistance; your suggestions have a tendency to rely on context and not what is contained within the image itself.
I feel like I've seen that at least two-three times with context glued to it, which still doesn't help its case or follow the rules.

Re: #15408 I think if a majority of the programming with pages on the wiki was known under that branding (Discovery Family is mostly a rerun farm now; most tropable works that originated on that network were under the Discovery Kids and Hub brandings), the previous logos make some sense to include. I think the page for Nickelodeon did that for a while before its newest logo incorporated its two most recent looks anyway.
