[up] Given who the Loyalist's boss is, it would not make sense for them to have any good characters on his side.

Surprised that bit hasn't been deleted despite me giving the go ahead to do so a long time ago. Just as long as the final build has the finishing blow being the "mother of all Macrocosms", I'm cool with the cut.

What good valid points would a faction dedicated to Dystopia Justifies the Means (no free will regardless of how many people have to suffer to get that goal) possibly have? Dont forget YVHV is Neutral Evil posing as Lawful Evil.

This does give the idea that some in the GUAE (Xehanort, Arthas) knew all along and used YVHV to tarnish law into another branch of GUAE.

End idea: YVHV joins the GUAE after being outed.

Edit: Since YVHV's fighting style is as subtile as a brick, ie just mass nuking with aoe elemental spells, perhaps the GUAG sends Sicily for the purpose of hard countering him.

That and some characters tech in the Elemental Rise, Aroma Therapy, Star Body, and Death Resistance evilities to make his day even more humiliating (as in his mightiest attacks being effortlessly tanked by an 8 and 9 year old girl, the former sounding like one of YVHV's earlier targets just as more insult to injury).

[up] Wouldn't that mean the GUAL be disbanded? What about Lucifer for that matter?

In other news, I think I know the perfect website to put these Pantheon stories in: Wordpress.

[down]x2 Just have to wait for more people's input on this.

[up][up] I don't know how well that would work. Remember that part of the reason why YHVH is so screwed is because he thinks that he has no equals in the world, and as such can't view anyone and anything but pawns. He doesn't sound like a guy who would simply "join" anything unless he is leading it.

Hotman: It's being reformed with Eiki as leader. It will be an average of Lawful Neutral instead of the mainly Lawful Evil organization it is now.

Eiki and the GUAG back up overthrowing YVHV is meant to be insult to injury to Lucifer by GUAG to get revenge on him for the events of Great Upheaval by stealing his biggest ambition from him.

[down] More of a logical conclusion of the events than anything else. It would logically be a secondary motive alongside the primary motive of helping someone who many in the GUAG regard as an ally.

I want to know if we are going to address the Eternal Conflict that the pantheon is trapped in someday.

Like how many world-ending threats do we have here? I'm pretty sure your average deity is getting used to see them on a daily basis.

It may be possible to move the entire Trope Pantheon project to Wordpress, but we would just be burning ourselves out.

I found this trope: Both Sides Have a Point and back in those days, I think Hotman added in the Sandbox about Kokonoe and Rachel labeling Litchi with Villain-by-Proxy Fallacy.

Revisiting Morality Civil War, I remember that the point of my story is this. Sure, the pro-Litchi camp think it's just unfair to bully on poor Litchi who doesn't like what she does working with the bad guys... But it's not that the anti camp are being straws that has no grounds in their actions, they do.

Up until now, Litchi has proven herself that she's not going to be picky in getting help in 'saving Arakune'. Even if the one who 'offers' or 'hints' it are like, distrusted even by her. She's also known to readily sacrifice herself to save Arakune. Noble, but easily manipulated. And it's like Litchi cannot be dissuaded from that path.

Meaning that the anti camp is trying to diffuse a walking time bomb, they can only stop if one of the 'spread' videos is to become reality: The next time someone offers or hints a help to save Arakune, Litchi refuses because she's either over that issue, or refuses to sully her morals for that. By that, they see it that it's not wrong to think that Litchi is a Super Gullible person when it comes to Arakune, and that needs fixing before tragedy occurs, that doesn't seem to be a 'fallacy'.

I mean, imagine if, in conjunction of that Godhand situation, Litchi ends up willy nilly accepting the offer to become an Apostle/Godhand just to save Arakune. The anti-camp currently believes that Litchi WILL accept that offer pronto, and the current facts about 'will have standards' favor them. In light of those, don't you think that the anti-camp actually HAS a point in their antagonism?

(Though I will also give that if Arakune was killed abruptly before she could come to terms to it, it could be the biggest catalyst for her to accept such deadly offer, giving a point for the pro camp as well)

... Or is this something you guys have known all the time?

Hi, new to the Pantheon, but I have a few questions about how "death" in the Pantheon works;

1. If a God/dess of a trope is fatally attacked/injured, what happens to them?

2. Tying in to above, how do battles between the Grand Alliances play out? More specifically, what happens to a god/dess who falls in battle?

[up]I believe they come back from the dead, no sweat, even if there is a big damn war. After all, unless we deem it otherwise, the gods are here to stay.

You know, I sort of want to make a Leaning on the Fourth Wall joke in the Junko story about Enoshima's Walking Spoiler status and the idea of actually removing it from her in-story.

[up][up] So do the Gods of the Pantheon go by Ajin rules (after the "die", they wake up completely healed in the same spot) or is it more of a respawn system?

If the latter, where do they "respawn"? Quite a few entries mentioning Gods waking up in the House of Life & Death after incidents with other Gods.

[up] I'm guessing a respawn. Though, for Immortals, it might not happen.

@ YHVH: More people who are good-aligned, but either have conflicted loyalties that force them to be on the Loyalist's side or have an agenda of their own. On the flip side, I imagine a number of Lawful Evil characters on Eiki Shiki's side, mainly because they disagree with YHVH out of morality or their own opinions on law.

[up][up] Thanks, but I'm still very confused how battles between the Grand Alliances or even individual characters are supposed to work.

I mean if every character is a god, can they "die" in battle? If so, where do they go? How are battles resolved?

Is there anyone who can give a clear explanation to how "Death" works in the Pantheon?

[up] Think of character death as being like how it works in Heroes Of The Storm or any MOBA. Respawn at their home base.

[up][up] Death Is Cheap

If someone happens to die, they will likely come back sooner or later. I think it takes time depending on how someone died

[up] Even when they're canonically Deader than Dead? Hmm...I guess if death isn't a consequence, we need some Cool and Unusual Punishment instead. Though I assume that anyone who's kicked out of the pantheon is Killed Off for Real. A number of gods are dead in their home universe, so it could be that the Trope Pantheon is a stay at the execution. For instance, they could get Frieza to behave by pointing out that if he gets kicked out he'll be trapped in the cocoon

Sssssoooo....know this isn't related to the current conversation but just curious, does Chara have his own body in the TV World or is he still using the Human Child's body? Might do a short story where the Human Child confronts Chara to get his Persona.

There are a couple of stories that I would want to formulate, mainly Garnet being a rival to Marge Simpson due to their differing parenting styles and mentalities clashing with each other like sharp and tacky clothing, with Pearl and Amethyst both being comedic rivals towards Marge due to their own styles of taking care of Steven being too alike and too differing, respectively. Garnet would be the one questioning if Marge is doing what's best for her kids and not for herself, the others are more like foils.

[up][up] That's not necessarily and seems that rivalry isn't needed. It makes no sense since Gems don't care about Humans doing unless it's directly means Earth or Humans are harm in the process.

So, I want to do two parallel/intersecting stories abut Lelouch vi Britannia and Light Yagami, and the two of them finally unleashing their master plans (a large amount of which is against each other), but A, I'm not sure how to go about doing a story, and B, they're such absolute genius characters that I am bound to make a few mistakes-even the writers of Death Note and Code Geass made a few, and so I will run all of the developments through here so others can catch them. I also want to make it very clear that all hierarchy changes are temporary. Also, are there any existing stories besides the Pantheonic Rebellion and Bored that deal with either of these two, so I can know what they have done? (I am aware of Light's apprenticeship). Also, after I put out Chapter 1 of each story, I would love any suggestions for possible Xanatos Gambits and other master plans. I have a plan for retcons to show what each of them was initially planning, but short-term stuff and Xanatos Speed Chess is unplanned. Charles zi Britannia and Hades will play major roles. It may be a while before Chapter 1 is done.

My new plan is so secret that even I cannot understand its full scope!
