Bowser Jr.◊ and Dr. Lobe◊ costumes revealed.

I enjoy how many of the costumes and new, in-the-style-of sprites for the SMB 1 theme are intentionally just slightly Off-Model and cheap-looking. It takes effort to emulate previous failures successfully.

If I counted correctly, we currently know 71 out of 99 costumes, so there's still 28 characters we don't know of.

Is it wrong that I want Blargs? I really want Blargs. There aren't enough Blargs in Mario games.

No you aren't wrong though now I tend to associate them with the Yoshi series.

It'd be kinda cool if Yoshis Island assets make it into the game, either as secret unlocks or as DLC.

...and now I'm realizing, the art of secret content in games is kinda dead now that DLC rules all.

Too complicated probably.

I must admit, it's disappointing that attaching Wings to a Wiggler makes a Parawiggler and not a Flutter.

I'm really excited to see how things interact. I'm hoping to see if I can make Dry Bowser by combining Bowser with a Dry Bones. Or if I can turn around and make Ghost Bowser with Bowser and Boo. Or maybe give out Fire Flowers to every enemy I can (flaming Bloopers!).

No problem. His videos are pretty great overall so I was excited to see he had one for this game.

I'm pretty sure that, outside of special circumstances like changing Lakitu's ammo, combining enemies just makes stacks of enemies that can move as one unit.

I suspect that will be the case in many cases (though I'm hopeful for Dry Bowser). I'm just hopeful for some creative combinations.
