I woke up this morning with a bad hangover,
And my penis was missing again.
This happens all the time.
It's detachable.

Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805So, should I be kicking myself in the pants for getting a Wii U (I really wanted to play Super Smash Bros. 4, please don't judge me) or not yet?
Also, should we expect a version of Super Mario Maker for the Switch?
It's actually really crazy that the Switch is coming in March because my birthday's on the month after March.
It's too early to tell, but there'a still games you can play on Wii U that are probably not going to get ported.
I'm not. I've had a blast with WWHD, Xenoblade X, #FE, Splatoon, Bayonetta, Hyrule Warriors, Yoshi's Wooly World, etc. Has it been kinda sparse? Yeah. But I've gotten a heck of a lot of joy out of it.
i. hear. a. sound.Yeah, while I recognize that the Wii U was a bit of a bust from a business standpoint, I definitely don't regret buying one. It might not have an enormous game lineup, but pretty much every one of the ones I have has been a blast. Heck, I think I sunk over 100 hours into just Xenoblade X alone, never mind stuff like Bayonetta and all of the Mario series stuff. And Splatoon.
Reaction Image RepositoryLet's brainstorm then: What Wii U games are likely to get a port, if not a full-on sequel?
We've already seen Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon, Smash 4 is basically confirmed, and I can't imagine they'd ignore Super Mario Maker. What others?
Bayonetta 2+1?
I don't know. I kind of hope all of the big 1st Party Wii U games release on the Switch so the ones I didn't get for Wii U I can play on the go.
A game I want on the Switch that wasn't on Wii U is the Skate series. Maybe Skate Trilogy on Switch, PS 4, and Xbox One. If it does good then hopefully EA makes a 4th game in the series.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI fully expect to see Hyrule Warriors 2. We know Koei Tecmo are on board with the Switch and they'd be plain stupid not to make a sequel after how well the first one did.

Trans rights are human rights.Pokken Tournament almost certainly will. There're DLC characters being added to the arcade version but not the console version, and given how well it sold, I can't see them not capitalizing with a Switch update.
Considering we found out about the dlc characters from the console version. I'm pretty sure they're coming to it.
I doubt it. Every thing Pokken related prior to these DLC characters has had a world wide announcement. The most recent DLC reveal's official video is unlisted on Youtube, and the reveals themselves have all been made on unrelated Japanese streaming sites, as if they don't want anyone in the west knowing about them.
They're probably just waiting to try again with the game on the Switch and are done with it on the Wii U.

I must admit. I'm a little worried.
As others have pointed out, Nintendo is innovating in places where some might not be interested in innovating.
If this system doesn't do better then the Wii U, third parties will just give up on it (hell, despite all the companies listed, can we really be sure any of these guys will really bother when they already have good deals with Microsoft and Sony? Why risk something that will potentially bomb again when you could just stick with a sure thing instead?).
Nintendo has to do better at advertising then they did before, and they have to have a lot of games to bring over to the system. If it' successful, Third Parties will see a benefit to joining up hopefully.
Of course, I'm not really a business guy, so I'm likely just talking out of my ass. Those who better understand what Nintendo needs to do, and needs to happen for the Switch to be a success can explain it better then I can.
One Strip! One Strip! The Switch trailer is already by far Nintendo's most viewed video on their Youtube channel at 14 million views, not counting the trailers on Nintendo's other channels. Views do not equal sales, but it does indicate that there is a high level of interest in the system.
Hyrule Warriors 2 seems a fair idea. They may want to limit the Wii U ports on account of being accused of having nothing new though. Splatoon 2 would be nice but they might want to wait a little while longer especially if they're doing a port first. We may have got confirmation on this anyway but Smash 4 is very possible.
Might be nice to get some sequels for slightly lesser-known games though; still vaguely hoping for Wonderful 102.
Some variation on Splatoon and MK are pretty much guaranteed at this point. I'd be very surprised if Smash didn't get a port as well.
As far as other ports, I don't think Hyrule Warriors is out of the question. Bayonetta getting a port would be pretty awesome, since the sequel definitely deserves more exposure, and the developers are still supporting the system. Pokken is definitely possible, too.
Reaction Image RepositoryNot a port. A sequel. There's already been Legends, we absolutely do not need a third version of the same game.

Trans rights are human rights.I can't think of anything Platinum Games is doing at the moment that they would seek to bring over, so I have to assume they're working on something new.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectA sequel would be ideal, yes.
Reaction Image RepositoryHmm, with a switch to cartridge, do you think Xenoblade 3 will rum smoothly without sacrificing character models?

Where there's life, there's hope.Storage medium shouldn't affect how it runs, only load times, max size of the files, and manufacturing costs.
Isn't pop in a problem that carts don't have? That should make some games run better.
Platinum's got that Granblue Fantasy console game that they're developing for PS 4. Seeing as it's an adaptation of a popular mobile game, maybe there's a chance we'll see it on the Switch. Maximum mobility for both games.

I don't know if I'd really buy the ports. Mario Kart definitely I'd buy if it is indeed a port (because it has new content and I love MK 8), not sure on Smash 4 (if it gets ported, only because I also have the 3DS version. They'd have to add a lot of new stuff (namely characters) in order to convince me to get it), or Splatoon.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!
I'm positive that I'll have some fun times with the Switch.
Farewell Wii U, you provided me much happiness in my junior and senior years of high school (and a little bit of my sophomore year).
