We're gonna party like its 1776!

Fun fact: Prior to a violent revolution, the Founding Fathers of the United States of America tried on numerous occasions to write to King George III about their issues and initially wanted to try and resolve it peacefully. Problem was every time they did, he either saw no problems with his actions and decisions or belittled the colonists and made things worse. If I remember right it wasn't until the violence of the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775 that they began contemplating war.

Point is: Had King George III responded differently and didn't insist that all his decisions were final and needed no consent from the colonists, the outcome could have been very different.

How about some Independence Day music?

I can say, having brushed the debris off from the homebrew fireworks display and assisted in the containment of small brush fires, I have laid witness to the second best 4th of July ever.

I bought a $5 pack of pyrotechnic things that spin around and burn in different colors, but unfortunately, our lighter was out of fuel.

I wasn't able to see or hear a single firework last night. This! Is! BULLSHIT!

My country had a match in the World Cup, and whenever they scored someone would release them.

I worked all day yesterday. Yeah.

Apparently, people really like to eat pizza on Freedom Day, who knew.

@Paradox: It's good to know that politicians not listening to the people is a tradition that runs deep in American culture from its very inception.

On the 3rd, they held some fireworks shows that I was able to see from my bathroom window.

Apparently, they have really good fireworks in Ukraine during some day that they celebrate.
