If you think that both the image and the caption are poor, please make a thread in Image Pickin' for the page, and we'll work on the image and caption both at the same time.
As with other TRS and IP threads, please state your reasons and make your case in your first post. Don't make the other posters spend time trying to pry it out of you.

Apparently Dragon Quest Z had changed it from that to "If it doesn't slice you, the sheer impact force will hurt like hell." back on July 2012, only for Zikiel to unilaterally remove it on September 2012 without an edit reason.
It's... kind of bland, but less offensive, I guess?

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
The page image caption on Dragon's Lair looks weirdly out-of-place.
Which sounds strange because:
- She's not a historical princess, she's a princess from a cartoonish fairy-tale world. Anachronisms and illogical stuff can be pretty much expected in settings like that.
- It's an 80s game, why wouldn't she dress like someone from the 80s?
So yeah. It'd be fine if the quote, for example, ironically compared her attire to a Playboy pin-up note , mocked the gamers who only remember the game for said attire, or maybe poked fun at her permanent Damsel in Distress status. But as it is, it just sounds weird, like a serious complaint from someone who can't tell a realistic setting from an unrealistic one.

I can't help but feel like we could find a better image, too.
Like, this is better than nothing, but when I think Dragon's Lair, I think Dirk the Daring coming across ridiculous traps, not him and Princess Daphne in a colorless void.

The first option for the caption (the Playboy comparison) sounds best to me.
Perhaps I'm just being dense here, but I'm not sure what the caption on The Backwards Я is supposed to mean. Is it supposed to be a phonetic rendering of the characters on the sign?
EDIT: Okay, I can see upon closer examination that that is indeed what it is. Might I make a small suggestion? Add a note to the caption giving the actual Russian that corresponds to the intended meaning; that would indirectly make it clearer while adding more info.

@214: I'm not sure it's so bad to warrant an Image Pickin' thread. It shows both main characters, and the resolution of Dirk's quest.
@215: To be honest, I think maybe it shouldn't be solely focused on Daphne's design, after all. I think probably the best option would be a quote that mentions both Dirk's ridiculously difficult quest or maybe his hundreds of possible deaths, and Daphne's design — since those are the two most remembered things about the game.

Thank you for coming to help. We were hoping to get a proper Russian translation of what the sign is meant to convey to English speakers ("All hail Marx Lennon") to demonstrate what the phrase would look like if it were actually written in Russian.
"All hail Marx Lennon" would be "Слава Марксу[-]Леннону" if translated directly, or "Да здравствует учение Марксизма-Леннонизма" if you go for "how Russians would have said it".
If the direct translation sounds awkward, I will go with the second one.
