Didn't we just have a discussion on this?
Anyway, yeah, it's a lousy image. I like the Visual Pun, but it doesn't work because the God image, when inverted, just doesn't look like anything.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Oh, this is still here. I absolutely hate this picture. My suggestion was better, but I'd be fine with pulling with no replacement.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. Are we willing to discuss giving God a simpler image so that the photo-negative idea can work?
Last thread ended in no consensus, including to pull. Suggestion?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.God has "NOTE: Do not change the image per admin request." in the page source.
As for this image, Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI didn't know this was just discussed; still the point stand that no picture would be better than the current, if only for the matter of duplication.
I do not agree that a negative of another image is a duplicate. It's a different thing.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNot a duplicate. I agree it should be improved if possible, though. The last thread did not reach consensus that it's worse than nothing. Please make a suggestion, removing without replacement is very unlikely.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. It's definitely not a duplicate, but I do think it's worse than nothing. I'd prefer BUPKIS over the current.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I think the last thread shows you need a strong suggestion for discussion on this trope's illustration to go anywhere.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Looks like we're pretty split on this one. Let's settle this once and for all with a crowner.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Um what would be the options on it?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Same as in the last thread, I suppose? We got 6:6 against a replacement, 4:6 against keeping the current, and 5:6 against leaving it blank. Since this is only three months ago, I'm not sure if there's any point in repeating it unless there's a new suggestion.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! My opinion is still the same. Weak, but doesn't harm, so shouldn't be pulled without replacement.
Check out my fanfiction!Well, I offered a replacement in the last thread. My problem with the current (and God to a lesser extent) is that the focus is not on the big cheese, but all this other crap that's going on around Him. So it just looks like some magical old guy with his arms in the air.
I'd support that over the current.
I always liked 17. It looks swell. I have no clue what is going on in the current. I thought it was a diagram about magnetism.
EDIT: Ooooooooh. Popped it into PS and inverted. It's a nice pic, but the light fine details do get lost. Shame, that.

It is what it is.FWIW I also prefer #17.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I'm with Spark 9 et al. for swapping with #17 - it's easily identified and makes sense, whereas the negative of the God page is like a magic eye picture unless you've seen what it references.
Failing 17, I'm with having nothing at all.

I'm as good with 17 as I was with it in the previous thread.
I am equally for current and 17.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCaption: "He's still less of a jerk than Overexposed God, and less apathetic than Desaturated God."
This has enough support for a switch. I was just to lazy to do it a few days ago. I kept the caption, but removed the Pot Hole to Grandpa God in the image. It may be a little too big. Anyone support a downsized version?

Not an exact duplicate, but the image on The Anti-God is a negative on the picture illustrating God (which, for the record, is the painting The Four and Twenty Elders Casting their Crowns before the Divine Throne by William Blake).
First, it looks ugly. Second, the Visual Pun doesn't work unless you've recently seen the God page, and even so, it's lame. And third, it looks ugly.
I'm all for removing the picture even if a replacement can't be found. It doesn't look like an easy trope to illustrate anyway.
