I'm good with the first one.
I think this one would be best.
That looks more like Only Six Faces.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I would suggest Marty McFly and his children. (Seriously, Jennifer must have the most recessive genes in history!) But I can't seem to find a good photo of the three of them together, other then one where the kid's faces are covered which would defeat the purpose.

Boy Scouts ½: the most gratuitous self insert fic, ever! Read, if you dare!1.1 works.
I like 1.1. 1.4 is a bit too busy.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe dark bars on the sides need to be cropped off but otherwise I'm good with it.
@8 looks better in quality, though.
8 is less foggy than 10, so 10<8.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHere we go.
Check out my fanfiction!
Good enough since we've been discussing the overall concept for all this time. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no?
Wait a second: this trope is about actors — about how absurd it is to have a single actor portray multiple members of an extended family. It doesn't apply to animated titles. It is not about how members of fictional families tend to look alike. This pic could encourage misuse. It fits better on Strong Family Resemblance (which already has a pic).
ETA: Too late, apparently; there's a Western Animation and Anime/Manga sections, meaning this trope is already heavily misused. We shouldn't be encouraging it further.

Hmmmm...y'know, I wouldn't mind replacing that DBZ pic with this one if that's the case, the resemblance is almost too much in that pic.
No, that trope is about a parent/child familiarity, where this is more broad. If the actor requirement is the case, then this description sucks (as it doesn't immediately get to the point), and the laconic doesn't indicate this in the slightest. The page quote also seems to be more of Identical Grandson. I think a better clarification is needed, probably TRS.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Frankly, I'm not 100% sure what this trope is, but the way it's written now, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be more specific than "some family members look alike."
The trope as-is is about family members looking almost identical.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI am extremely skeptical it's just about that. The second, third, and fourth paragraphs seem to clearly indicate that it's not just about that, but about the reasons why it happens (actor conservation), and how absurd it gets because of that. Without that, I'm actually not 100% sure it's a trope.
I also read it as "Family members look uncannily alike because they're all being played by the same actor." Otherwise there's no functional difference between this and Strong Family Resemblance. So, how about

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.A clean version of that would be great. The question now is, should we swap out the pic on Strong Family Resemblance with the Simpsons pic? I lean toward yes, if for no other reason than if you're not familiar with DBZ, you could see them as clones...they fit the trope too closely. The Simpsons pic makes it very clear that they're individuals who really look a lot alike.
First thing that I thought of was Homer Simpson's relatives. [1]◊ I admit this isn't the best quality, but I think it works well enough. Another option would to be to show Homer with his half-brother◊ and/or half-sister◊. That giant character poster◊ shows a lot of them, but that would take some dedicating 'shopping to put them all together.
