Mel turns herself into water, Electrode can't explode if the opponent has Damp. She then turns Electrode into soda, but not before taking a severe, super effective electrical shock from the pokemon since it's faster.

Hmm. If he got a really good shot in with a White Line Quarterstab, he might be able to take an eye out, and if really lucky, maybe both, but unless he accomplished that early on, he just wouldn't last long enough. The thing has too much HP, and the Novice has a finite (if as yet undefined) amount of stamina and isn't quite as fast or maneuverable in the air.
EDIT: Actually, if he managed to copy the Sharknado thing, he might be able to start doing enough damage... Although that also depends on what I decide he can do while copying an ability. :/

I think Loki could probably defeat it.
I think my avatar has a shot at victory as they can directly attack an opponent's soul which might bypass his ability to not be killed, if that didn't work however mine will lose.
