It's not actually happening. There's small threads about it in other places, people asking for a female Expendables group. In fact, Expendables 3 has at least one new female recruit in the trailer, last I checked. But what if this film was happening? What, say, if you suddenly had infinite funding, and the phone numbers of several A-List actresses's agents, and they all signed on immediately?

Who would you pick for an all-female Expendables group (with perhaps one male member as well)?

Needless to say, contestants are not limited by the age of their careers. Pick actresses that have played tough-as-nails characters in significant roles. Example, I'd pick Danai Gurira for playing Michonne on The Walking Dead. A more obvious choice would be Sigourney Weaver for playing Ellen Ripley in Alien.

How would you play up their type-casting? What quirks would you give their characters, what "role" would they play on the team? And then, who would you select as the main antagonist for that film? Expendables 2 had Jean Claude-Van Damme in the spotlight.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).

I'd bring in Zhang Ziyi to be the Jet Li of the group, preferably with a bit more of a spotlight than what Jet Li managed to get.

With maybe Will Smith as The One Guy slash Dude in Distress. Sigourney Weaver as the "retired" vet who still kicks tons of ass.

Instead of mercenaries law enforcement, instead of an "exotic" setting it would be Phoenix, Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Jenette Goldstein(An officer who personally put away most of Perez’s family and other accomplices but was recently removed from the field because she was considered to be too old. She is now putting together a team to finish the job.), Cynthia Rothrock(Luttrell and Kim’s mentor, a former officer who now teaches self-defence classes.)

Rachel Luttrell(The hero the audience will get the most insight into, a soldier returning from a tour in Afghanistan. Convinced by Kim to join the force) Gail Kim(former friend of Perez, an officer who was recruited by Goldstein to take down Perez, Luttrell’s best buddy), Moon Bloodgood(confrontational officer temporarily demoted to menial duties) Regina King(An officer returning from injury, disturbed and "touched" but undyingly loyal to Goldstein), Linda Murray(Veteran close to being forced off the streets like Goldstein, current leader), Renee O'Connor(A veteran who Lawless tried to financially ruin, interested Lawless’s ties to Perez), Robin Coleman(A motorcycle state trooper famous for making a high profile bust, frustrated for letting Mo’Nique get away during said bust, temporarily working with the unit)

Big Bad Duumvirate: Lucy Lawless(Corrupt Partner in a law firm), Linda Hamilton(Arms Dealer with a manufacturing plant front), Mel Gibson(Corrupt Politician on the other two’s payroll). They will not be the kind of antagonists that are directly fought, but someone else will be…

Heads of the gang that is their collective dragon, Power Stable style: Melina Perez(The Champion: a loud, temperamental, possessive, unapologetic, career criminal known for fixing whatever problems Lawless, Hamilton and Gibson would rather not soil their hands on more directly. Former friend of Kim, secretly paranoid) Bingbing Li(The Heir Apparent: in truth Perez is worried about Goldstein and is grooming Li to take the fall if need be, Li believes she will be needed for Perez’s expansion plans and is totally loyal to her), Emilie Ullerup (The Enforcer: the evil genius who helps Perez plan and kept her safe while the rest of her family ended up dead or imprisoned, the only person Perez trusts and will not screw over), Valerie Wiseman (The Muscle: a former soldier who went crazy, really only interesting in fighting and killing, she works for Perez to repay a favour), Mo'Nique(The Hanger-on: formerly a rival, she crawled to Perez after Coleman took down her operation).

Other: John Morrison(Perez’s boyfriend), Tiny(Jerkass head of the department who retired Goldstein, punished Bloodgood, tries to keep Coleman from getting involved and antagonizes Luttrell because he thinks she will turn out like Wiseman)

Mo'Nique? That's what the movie needs; a female Leo Getz. [lol]
