No need to worry, we all like you a lot. Trust me, you kind of have to actually try to really mess up here. :P

While we do tend to be conscientious of post quality and the like, we're a good deal more concerned about everyone having fun and just generally being nice to each other. You seem to be very good at these things, and also a pretty friggin' good RPer in your own right, especially for someone who's just starting out.

Name: Samantha Kiley/CACU-451

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Appearance: Sam is 5'4" with short-cut bronze hair, brown eyes, and pale skin. She is athletically built, as befits her job, and generally can pass as either male or female if she chooses. The picture I use to represent her.◊

Personality: Off-duty, Samantha is headstrong, loyal, talkative, and very easily bored. She spends much of her time when off-duty playing video games or reading, but has difficulty retaining focus on them for long periods of time. She's known to annoy people who are busy in order to have something to do and pull pranks on people when she's feeling especially bored.

On-duty, Sam's personality seems to change entirely, as she's skilled at mimicking various mannerisms due to her primary tasks (assassination, espionage, and infiltration). When not on missions that require subterfuge, she's hyper-focused on her job and slightly distrustful of people she meets, although she does her best to hide it.

Abilities: Samantha is an empath: when she's not suppressing her powers, she passively sense the emotions of all those around her unless they are actively blocking her. However her powers also work in reverse: while her powers are active, she passively broadcasts her own emotions to the same people she's reading from. Normal people, especially those lacking knowledge of or training against psionic powers, tend to interpret the broadcasted emotions as their own, allowing an extremely limited form of emotional manipulation. However, due to the potential for discovery by those trained enough to recognize her influence, desire to avoid unintentional emotional influence of others, and general politeness, Sam generally keeps her powers mostly suppressed, only receiving and broadcasting strong emotions. As far as mundane things go she has military level combat training and specializes in hand-to-hand combat, but has no superhuman talent in any combat or non-combat skill.

Relevant Disclosure: Samantha is directly tied in with another character existing in the game, Akane Irae (played by Immortal Faust). They are sisters by adoption and by bond and work closely together on field assignments, and as such will often (though not always) be seen together.

Name: Mangled Penguin

Age: 26 (Born September 1, 1991)

Gender: Male

Appearance: A 6-foot tall, relatively thin man wearing black shorts and a penguin mask that covers his entire face.

Personality: He sees himself as some sort of health-promoting hero, and lives in his own little world. He also has a tendency to ham up whatever he's talking about at the time. At heart, though, he tries his best to be accepting of others.

Abilities: He can fly, but at such a slow speed that walking or climbing is faster. He also has slightly above average stamina.

Hello. I'll be entering for a while with my main character. Just in case, I worked in a small character page in my troper page.

• Name: Gregorio "Gregory" Gallardo. / "Insecto Nocturno" (He is called "Insecto" by everyone, or just "You").
• Age: 22.
• Gender: Male.
• Appearance: Here◊ and here.◊. An individual wearing a yellow hoodie, but inside of it there is a walking Powered Armor with buggy eyes on his face. He also doesn't wear pants.
• Personality: Gregory is the bodyguard of a supervillain only known as "The Blue Prince", as he is trapped in an armor, with the boss promising him how to take him out of it.
  • However, Gregory only follows the boss because he wants to see his child again. He will try to avoid killing anyone, and even save people from injustice, although he has his limits, as he can hold a grudge. (One example, one woman poisoined him, and despite the woman joining his boss at a later point, he doesn't treat her as anything other than a witch).
  • He is pretty much a quiet fellow, with a sad look on his face. He is, however, sarcastic, and would love to speak with someone that isn't trying to kill him or ask him to kill or steal something. He also loves to cook and eat.
  • Still misses his late wife dearly, so he can't really get into any sort of close relationship. He also loves to get praised, so he allows his boss to keep saying flattering things to him, even if he knows he is up to no good.
  • Finding Nemo and Rocky are his favorite movies of all time.
• Abilities: Besides knowing how to cook...
  • Boxing Battler: Is a boxer enthusiast, so he mainly fights with his fists.
  • Magnetism Manipulation: Has magnetic powers, but can only concentrate one object at the time. He also can't fly.
  • Night-Vision Goggles: Thanks to it's armor, he can see in the darkness, but sadly he can't turn it off, making him see a world of gold in the night, but can't never see the light of day, or else he is temporarily blind.
  • Powered Armor: He is trapped in an armor shaped like an insect, that grants him Super-Strength and Super Resistance, permanent night vision, and thanks to his boss, Dimitri, he has magnetic powers. The only problem is that going to the bathroom is a pain.

hey guys, didn't mean to leave you hanging. our usual sign up guy has been busy lately so i'm taking the wheel at the moment.

trumpetzorua: i don't see anything wrong with this character as he is, but i am getting a strong "joke character" vibe from him, and we discourage playing joke characters or villains as the first character we see. Not to say it hasn't been done, but it's better to have a grasp and feel for the game before you start playing anyone too zany. I'm going to recommend finding someone you might be able to play a little more seriously for your first character.

Tomodachi: I'm not seeing anything here that's horrendous, or that you can't fix up to our standards. gregory looks to be pretty in-line with a lot of the other types we see running around in the game, but we do require more about his personality. we have a good idea of what he can do, now we want to know what sort of person he is. our game is heavy on the character-interaction side of things, and if you fill the personality section out a little more, we'll take a look-see and get back to you.

I'm going to need some suggestions of what to add to the character so he can be allowed to enter the game.
