I'm just asking, as far as I know Apocalypse is a major cosmic baddie in the comics, like Galactus or Thanos, the kind of character Liz would most likely want to be controlling.

Vox: You again?!tongue

Awright, let's see. If we're going to have Apocalypse as a player-controlled bad guy, I'd say he would be a couple steps shy of a Klarion level baddie. So, with that in mind, I'm going to say we put him to one side, at least until the group has surpassed a major arc of some kind. Kind of like Klarion coming after the Man-Bat/Bane bash.

Hope you don't mind waiting, Vox. See if you'd like a different bad guy to control for the time being.

Sijo: Accepted.

Went back and forth on Red She-Hulk and Black Widow for a bit, but a winner was revealed.

  • Name: Red She-Hulk
  • Real Name: Elizabeth 'Betty' Ross
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Late 20's
  • Appearance: Angry, Red and Sexy. Civilian Appearance
  • Alignment: Anti-Villain
  • Personality:
    • As Betty Ross, she is reserved, cool and collected. She carries herself with an air of dignity and intelligence that speaks to her character. She doesn't allow herself to get emotional and will prefer to handle things by talking them out.
    • But as Red She-Hulk, her inhibitions disappear. She does whatever she wants, and does care what other people think. She doesn't take crap from anyone and solves her problems with her fists. She gets emotional, loud, angry and mean. She's got a mean tongue and an even meaner punch. Also, while she doesn't achieve She-Hulk levels of flirtiness, it does get up there, very often. She's got strong morals and doesn't like to be taken advantage of.
  • Powers and Abilities: Due to the gamma radiation, Red-She Hulk has powers on par with her ex-husband Hulk and her father Red Hulk. She can change between being Betty Ross and Red-She Hulk at will, but Red-She Hulk is much taller and buffer, so Betty's clothes had a difficult time containing her.
    • Super Strength: Red-She Hulk is arguably the strongest women on the planet. She can lift many tons over her head, and her force can punch through pretty much anything. Her anger helps.
    • Speed: Due, at least partially, to the great muscular strength and development of her leg muscles, she is capable of running and moving at speeds that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.
    • Durability: Red She-Hulk's body is highly resistant to all forms of conventional injury. Her skin is capable of withstanding extreme pressures, temperatures as high as 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit and as low as -195 degrees Fahrenheit, falls from great heights, field-artillery canon shells, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining any injury.
    • Healing Factor: Despite her body's extremely high resistance to injury, it is possible to injure her. However, she is capable of rapidly regenerating injuries that result in great tissue damage and blood loss within a matter of minutes. However, she is not capable of regenerating missing limbs or organs. Red She-Hulk's highly efficient metabolism renders her immune to all drugs and toxins as well as total immunity to all known Earthly diseases.
  • Weapons and Equipment: Red-She Hulk has a beloved sword which she usually refers to as her "Big-Ass Sword". Betty Ross is skilled in the use of small fire-arms.
  • Origin: Born in California, Betty was the only child of Air Force General Thaddeus Ross and his wife Karen Lee. Karen died when Betty was a teenager, and Ross shut Betty out of his life, claiming that a military base was no place for a young woman. Betty went off to boarding school. She returned to Thaddeus' home after finishing school but then as for much of her life she was dominated by Thaddeus. By now Thaddeus was in charge of the top secret Gamma Bomb Project at Desert Base in New Mexico. Betty greeted the bomb's creator, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, when he arrived at the base. A strong attraction grew between Bruce and Betty. However, Thaddeus held resentment for the quiet, slender, nuclear physicist thinking him a physical and emotional weakling. Thaddeus' dislike of Bruce intensified when he realized that Betty was falling in love with him.

Eventually, exposure to gamma radiation turned Bruce in the Hulk, and over the next few years, many conflicts arose between Bruce, Betty and Ross. Betty never stopped loving Bruce, even as the Hulk. Ross always wanted to kill the Hulk, but this hatred intensified when he discovered that Hulk was Banner, and it turned into a dark situation for Betty when she was torn between her father, and the man she loved who was a monster himself. It eventually came to a head when Betty died as a result of Hulk and Ross's fighting.

To combat Hulk, Ross eventually allowed himself to be subjected to the same experimentation and radiation that created the Hulk, and driven by revenge and anger over the loss of his daughter, he became Red Hulk, stronger even than Hulk, and retained all of his intelligence.

Eventually, Red Hulk was approached by the Leader, long-time enemy of the Hulk with a proposition. Leader would bring Betty back to life if Red Hulk then preformed missions for him, including but not limited to killing Bruce Banner and Hulk. Red Hulk agreed, but he did not know what he was agreeing to. Betty was brought back to life, but the only way it could be done included exposing her to her father's radiated blood and DNA. And so, she came back as Red-She Hulk.

Originally, Red She-Hulk was an unstoppable force, extremely unintelligent, angry and destructive. Seeing her like this, Ross was reminded of how the Hulk was originally, and it saddened and pained him to see what his daughter had become. Red Hulk ended up teaming with Hulk as they were the only ones who could bring Red She-Hulk down. The fight led to Red She-Hulk reverting to her original self and that was when Bruce discovered that not only was Betty alive, but he had seen what she had become. There was a lot of talking, and Betty eventually came to the conclusion that not only was she a different person now, but the man she had fallen in love with so long ago was a different person too, so she left. The experience broke her heart, but she had new found self-confidence in her power, and she gained control over the Red She-Hulk form.

Betty Ross went on to work for SHIELD, taking missions from Nick Fury, but she was actually a spy, working for evil organization and feeding information to them about SHIELD. She was eventually discovered and fought her way out of SHIELD, but she decided to keep her SHIELD uniform for two reasons. It allows her to continue her villainous acts and spoil SHIELD's good name, and it is the only piece of clothing she owns that both Betty Ross and Red-She-Hulk can both fit into.

She has since moved to Hub City, one of the most corrupt cities in the world, mostly to take on tasks for money and deal her own personal justice to corrupt politicians and law enforcers.

Or we can say that the two have butted heads before, maybe leave it like that until an eventual crossover?

The way I see it, it's like this: Bruce turns into the Hulk, starts the long fight with Ross. Does the blood transplant with Jennifer, she turns into She-Hulk, becomes superhero. Betty dies, and then turns into Red She-Hulk. I think that her first meeting with She-Hulk probably happened right before or after she left SHIELD.

Name: Terra

Real Name: Tara Markov

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Appearance: Eat dirt!

Alignment: Neutral, for now

Personality: She is angry at the world. She is angry about her mother's death, her father's lack of acknowledgement of her, and the fact that her mutant power isn't the type that can be hidden easily, though she is perfectly willing to use her power for her own ends. She is also willing to manipulate others if it can help her situation.

Powers and Abilities:

  • Geokinesis: Terra can control and manipulate all forms of rock and earthly substances and materials. Terra can fully control the dirt and earth she controls and manipulates. There is no set limit to how far or how close she needs to be to the earth for this power and ability to work. She has been able to be completely off the ground and still control the earth. She has created tremors, earthquakes, sharpen rocks to a needle point, and has control over these elements for as long as she can physically maintain them.

Origin: Tara Markov is the illegitimate daughter of the King of Markovia when he had an affair with her mother from America. When Tara was young, her mother tried to gain publicity and money from that fact. However, while Tara was in school, her mother died in what is best described as a mysterious explosion caused by a gas leak, but Tara knew her mother had been assassinated by Markovia to avoid the scandal of a illegitimate heir. Being sent to an orphanage, she lived there until in a fit of rage at age 13, she caused an earthquake which destroyed the orphanage... Tara Markov is a mutant. Now living on the streets of Hub City, she is angry at what hand fate had dealt her and uses her power to try to get enough money to survive. However, fate may have bigger plans for the mutant known as Terra.

  • Name: Domino
  • Real Name: Neena Thurman
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: Early 20's
  • Appearance: I look good in black
  • Alignment: Chaotic Selfish
  • Personality: Neena is a very casual and laid back person at heart. She really dislikes things being too structured and very rarely will ever use things like titles. She'll joke around whenever she feels like it, even to those shes trying to rob. Se can be a little sarcastic at times and can rub people the wrong way without realizing it. At the same time, shes not one to trust very quickly. It takes a lot to earn her trust, and even more to get her loyalty. At the end of the day, shes really only concerned for looking out for number 1. She likes a bit of luxury now and then and will use the skills she has to get them. She is also a bit of a risk taker, being a bit too in love with the rush that she gets when she pointlessly puts herself in danger. She tries to limit herself though, and not go into completely suicidal situations.
  • Powers and Abilities:
    • Probability Alteration: While Neena is a mutant, her power is one she is completely unable to control. She is able to affect the area around her so that situations turn in her favor, giving herself "good luck" and her enemies "bad luck". This power is able to make improbable things happen, but not impossible things. It is a subconscious power that is constantly emanating from her body, but is only active while she is in active and stressful situations. She can not be standing still and affect things around her, she has to be doing something active like running or shooting. This allows her powers to guide her body the right way to avoid danger or move properly. A byproduct of this power is near super-human reflexes and Agility.
    • Physically Fit: Neena stays in constant shape, always making sure to stay active and healthy. As such, she has the physical strength and speed near that of an athlete, and above that of an average person.
    • Training: Neena received some military training at a young age, giving her skills in firing weapons and combat.
  • Weapons and Equipment:
    • Two hand guns
    • A very well maintained custom motorcycle she affectionately calls Bones. Its a black Harley model with padded seating, improved handling and speed, and white stripe decals running along its side.
    • While not an item exactly, Neena is pretty well connected. She has worked with many people all over the country and has a wide network of contacts that owe her favors she can cash in when she needs to.
  • Origin: Her memory of her life before the facility is a bit sketchy at best. She remembers that her mutation manifested at a very early age, causing her skin to turn white except around her left eye, which turned black. She remembers living on the streets, alone and hungry. That was when they found her. Before the racial tensions between mutants and humans became a media topic, the government decided to start a project to see if mutants could become the next super soldiers. Neena, along with several other children, were brought in to be tested and trained. She spent her childhood running obstacle courses, studying, and being poked and prodded by men in white coats. One by one the children were weeded out, deemed unfit or unable to continue. Neena was one of the last ones remaining, a teenager by this point. That was when the funding was cut. While still being considered somewhat a success, the project wasn't providing the results that the brass were promised. Neena and the others did not have the raw power they were looking for. Instead the project was to be scraped and everything transferred over to a new project, one named Cadmus. Suddenly, the people and environment she grew up in were being torn down and taken away. The remaining mutant kids weren't really looking forward to seeing what they were going to do with them. As everything was being moved, they made their break. Neena wasn't sure how many, if any, of the others made it out of there, but she did. She got away from the suits and made her way to the streets of Gotham. It was there that she laid low for a while, working with a local gang. Her skills were pretty valuable to them, and she didn't want to be hungry again. After a couple of years, when she was sure they had stopped looking for her, she started wandering the country. She had no place that she belonged to, so she would wander, taking up criminal work when she needed cash. Now her wandering has taken her to Hub City, a place where she could show her face and not earn too many odd stares. She was gonna like it here.

  • Name: Karate Kid
  • Real Name: Val Armorr
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 32
  • Appearance: I'm going with his JLA Adventures design because he looks, you know, asian. Closer look. I suppose this version is in his 20's, so he looks slightly older.
  • Alignment: Anti-Hero
  • Personality: Val is a brash young man who hates being underestimated or sent to wait at the sidelines, always eager to get some action. He has a strict moral code, and will not allow anyone to break it, be by spreading chaos across a city or hurting an innocent person. He does what he does out of an inner desire to do good, but his hot temper lead to a lack of control, meaning he doesn't know when to stop and will do whatever is necessary, especially against the scumbags of Hub City. Val also prefers working alone, as his best partner, as he often says himself, is his own conscience, which he displays by managing to remain calm in even the worst situations, but that also leads to him rejecting all help from outside sources, deeming them too weak to fight, which is not a sign that he underestimates them, no, it's just his way of telling them to get out of the way and not get hurt- if only the rest of the world would just understand that. Val is extremely though to work with, but you might find, as some say, a brat with a heart of gold, underneath all that anger and dedication.
  • Powers and Abilities:
    • Martial Arts Expert/Unique Intellect: Experts from the future say that Val Armorr was the greatest martial artist of his century. Thanks to some small mutations he has, Val has an expanded intellect, which allows him to learn and store knowledge easier (it also gave him a photographic memory). This doesn't mean he can just sleep on a book and learn everything about kung-fu, it simply means that when some would take ten years, Val would just take five years or three if he gives it his all. He used this gift to help in his training, during which he travelled around the world, learning about all fighting techniques that Earth could offer, from karate to krav maga to boxing to capoeira to sumo to sambo, Val knows it all. When he is accessing his "memory banks", remembering things he once saw, his eyes glow blue.
  • Weapons and Equipment: Val's martial arts ability includes proficiency with assorted melee weapons such as swords and knives, though Val almost never uses such items for combat.
  • Origin:
    • Val Armorr was born to an affair between Japan's greatest crimelord, Kirau Nezumi and an American, Valentina Armorr. Unbeknownst to Nezumi, Valentina was actually a member of the League of Assassins, who had the mission to assassinate Nezumi, but instead ended up falling for him. Once he discovered her true origin, Nezumi ordered her assassination, which the League used as a chance to get rid of Valentina, who tried to hide Val from both the League and Nezumi, but failed and ended up dead. Nezumi expected the League to return the boy to him, but they ended up keeping him, interested in the potential of the child. Angry at their betrayal, Nezumi and his gang, the Black Dragons, went after the League's compound in Tokyo and began a bloody battle which was interrupted by Sensei Toshiaki. Japan's greatest hero, Sensei used this chance to try and aprehend not only Nezumi and his goons, but also members of the League, some of which were on the most-wanted list in various countries. However, the League escaped, but Toshiaki managed to kill Nezumi for his crimes. In the middle of the rubble, he heard the cries of a baby, and found young Val, whom he adopted.
    • Toshiaki raised Val as if he were his own son, teaching him all that he could learn, and training him in all manner of martial arts. Val became the youngest warrior ever to earn the title Samurai, and he went to work for his local shogun. However, after years of not getting the attention he deserved, he quit, and said goodbye to his father, deciding to travel the world for new forms of battle to master. During his first trip, he was affronted by League members, who brought a message from their leader: they had been watching Val since he was adopted by Toshiaki, and now wanted to offer him a place in their ranks. Seeing an opportunity, Val took the offer, and was taken into the League, where he was trained in the art of assassination. At first, Val believed in the League's ideals, that they were bringing peace to the world in a way that no hero could. But after witnessing his fellow recruits killing a man who stole a loaf of bread during a mission, Val knew that he was in the wrong place and that he needed to leave.
    • He began to make plans for his escape, sharing them with a young recruit he fell in love with. However, at the last moment, she betrayed him, giving the plans to her superiors, who surrounded Val when he was ready to escape. In what seemed like the last minutes of his life, something activated in his brain, and Val suddenly remembered the layout of the compound, the fighting style of the generals, everything. His eyes glew blue, and he managed to overpower the generals and escape the compound with some minor injuries. This experience with the League taught Val to act alone, for others would either bog him down or eventually betray him. He resumed travelling through the world, but this time, not only was he being chased by the League, but whenever he saw crime being committed, he delivered justice his own way, instilling fear in the heart of the criminals. There were those who weren't afraid of him, and although the idea to dispose of them passed through his mind, Val never acted on it, considering himself to be above such crimes.
    • Now, Val is in his early thirties, and he has arrived in Hub City. He has mastered all martial arts one could master, and now, scarred (both physically and mentally) from previous encounters with the League and other criminal masterminds , he settles down in the city with no heroes, adopting the name of the Karate Kid, so he can give these criminals someone to fear, someone to remind them where they belong. And those who don't fear Val Armorr... will soon fear the Karate Kid.

There you go, a reworked Karate Kid. I hope I didn't make him too grimdark.

And sheet number two.

  • Name: Red Hood
  • Real Name: Jason Todd
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: Late 30's
  • Appearance: The costumeis different... but the mask never changes.
  • Alignment: Anti-Villain
  • Personality: Jason's biggest feature according to some is his rage, which complements his reckless and impulsive behavior. He can't understand why someone like Batman has a moral code when dealing with such scum as criminals, and so he follows one simple rule- "my way or the high way". Either the criminals fear him, or they don't get to live at all. All of this doesn't mean that Jason can't show compassion, it simply means that people never get far enough with him to earn said compassion and respect.
  • Powers and Abilities:
    • Acrobatics, Firearms and Driving: In his training as Robin he has been taught acrobatics. He further practiced his abilities as the Red Hood. Having been trained by Batman, Jason has perfect aim when using batarangs and later, firearms. To increase his skill with firearms he went a step further than Batman on his journey around the world to learn from the masters how to kill a target with different types of guns. Jason has driven a variety of vehicles from cars and boats, to being trained in the Middle East by an ace pilot to fly helicopters.
    • Genius Level Intellect: Jason has received excellent education and tutoring from Batman, and thus has extensive knowledge of various subjects, which include Science, Mathematics, Forensic Medicine, Geography, History, and Leadership. He has also proven to be a highly efficient criminal strategist and organizer as the Red Hood. He has expertise on the areas of criminology, demolitions and is a fluent speaker of several languages.
    • Hand-to-Hand Combat: Jason Todd is a highly skilled combatant in various types of martial arts. He has received extensive training from Batman, and after his resurrection, had traveled the world, learning every form of martial arts he could, just as Batman did.
    • Investigation and Surveillance: Jason has shown some skill as a detective. Although contradictory to his once childish nature, Jason's learned to survey his targets before attacking and killing them. He spends long hours scouting targets and assuring that they deserve his brand of justice.
  • Weapons and Equipment: Has quite the arsenal of guns smuggled in from outside the USA, and has a red motorcycle and a baton he often uses when walking the streets.
  • Origin:
    • Jason Todd was a young street orphan in Gotham City who attempted to steal the tires of the Batmobile, gaining Batman's attention. The Dark Knight put him in a school for troubled orphans, but he later found out said school was a HQ for a band of thieves. When Jason helped him fight the thieves, Batman decided to take him in as the new Robin, since Dick Grayson had left him not long ago.
    • Time passed and Jason grew under Batman's training, but no matter what he did, the Dark Knight could not control Jason's rage, with the reckless Robin ruining months of planning by going forward and attacking when Batman asked him to hold on. As his rage and behavior got worse and worse, Batman tried to find a solution to Jason's problem, but the unexpected happened: hired by Ra's Al Ghul, Joker lured Jason to a warehouse in Bosnia with the mission to distract him. However, the clown went too far, and ended up murdering Jason by beating him with a crowbar and leaving him half-dead on the warehouse with a bomb. Batman was too late, and Jason was killed in the explosion.
    • Batman returned to Gotham City to bury the body, unknown that he was burying a dummy. Jason's real body had been taken by Ra's Al Ghul who, with the weight of Jason's unnecessary death on his head, decided to revive him with the Lazarus Pit. Once revived, Jason went mad with the pain and escaped. Once he regained his sanity, he was far far away from Ra's, and he now had a mission. Under several disguises, he travelled across the world, much like his mentor, learning all he could learn...
    • ... until he returned to America. Instead of going to Gotham City, he decided to go for the beacon of corruption of his country- Hub City. His plan was simple: to take over the crime underworld by making the gang leaders fear him. And he would not abide by some code like Batman- if he had to kill, he would do it. But to spread fear across Hub City, he could no longer be Jason Todd. He now had to be... the Red Hood.

Which one do you guys prefer?

Name: Winter Soldier

Real Name: Unknown, uses the moniker "Bucky".

Gender: Male

Age: Appears to be in his early 20's.

Appearance: "Who the hell is Bucky?"

Alignment: Anti-Villain, bouncing between all types.

Personality: For the most part, Winter Soldier lives up to his name, coming across as cold and borderline emotionless, even detached from the world around him. However, when "in his element", either among people he trusts or merely comfortable with his surroundings, he can shift to a charming and even flirtatious young man with a dry wit and an enjoyment of his work. He is also a true Determinator who can and will withstand nearly anything to achieve his goals, and when his trust is earned, is fiercely loyal. He does show some moments of confusion and even near delirium at times, whether it be from the state of his mind or from other factors, but can usually snap out of it without much provocation.

Powers and Abilities:

  • Olympic-class athlete and acrobat, able to perform at a high level of exertion for long periods of time without tiring. There is some debate as to whether or not his abilities even outclass Olympians, however there is no explanation for how or why this could be.
  • Highly skilled in both unarmed and armed hand-to-hand combat of varying styles.
  • Extremely accurate and skilled with firearms of all types, seems to prefer pistols and sniper rifles.
  • Fluent in multiple languages, including German, Japanese and Russian. He is currently working to add French to his list.
  • Expert spy, able to infiltrate and escape with ease, as well as deduce behaviors and reactions of other people and adjust his tactics appropriately.
  • High level of pain tolerance thanks to unknown augmentations and training with Deathstroke.
  • Cybernetic arm grants additional abilities, including strength bordering on superhuman, highly enhanced reaction times, a sensory array that allows him to pass through devices such as metal detectors unnoticed, electrical pulses from the palm, and a short-range EMP.

Weapons and Equipment:

  • Wears a bullet-resistant suit with a tactical vest, allowing him to typically carry a pair of handguns and several knives. If on a mission, typically carries a sniper rifle or some sort of automatic weapon as well.

Origin: Winter Soldier has no clear memory of who or what exactly he is. He knows that he has been an agent under command of a group of Russians, sent to perform assassinations in the past, and that for some reason he was given an order to kill Slade Wilson and destroy the Titans. However, after slaying the gang, he was fought to a standstill and ultimately tricked into a trap by Deathstroke. During their battle, Winter Soldier seemed to be losing control of himself, as he would become disoriented and unable to understand where he was before snapping back into his battle. After being trapped and captured by Deathstroke, an interrogation finally brought this other persona to the surface, who had no knowledge of anything to do with his background, and only a vague recollection of a name: "Bucky". Deathstroke chose to spare the frightened young man and take him in, training him to resist the Winter Soldier persona and become a new man...a new Titan. After much work and effort, the Winter Soldier and "Bucky" personalities finally seemed to be one, and Winter Soldier reclaimed his identity, vowing that the Winter Soldier would serve Deathstroke faithfully in exchange for being saved and rehabilitated. He knows that his former owners are probably searching for him, but remains prepared to face them down when that day comes.

Obviously, we all know that Winter Soldier is in fact, James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, former sidekick of Captain America who was seemingly killed in action during World War II. He was found by the Russians and implanted with his cybernetic arm, but brain damage inflicted from his injuries and freezing left him without any memories but with his extensive combat skills intact. He was trained, re-educated, and brainwashed to be an agent of the Russians extensively, used to infiltrate and assassinate political figures and enemies of the state, as well as to train other agents of their's as well. However, after three years of active duty, his handlers began to see signs of mental instability in Bucky, rebellions against his orders, and wandering away from his extraction points, which caused great worry. To maintain their control of this asset, they instead began to place him in cryo-suspension between missions, re-installing his brainwashing and fanaticism on each awakening to keep him loyal, which halted his aging and left the nearly-90-year-old as a seeming young man of his early 20's. Even with these efforts, however, it seemed clear that something was no longer quite right. Slade was the first man to be able to break through the defenses built into his brain, but without further action, Bucky's full memories will remain destroyed.

As an aside, there may be more background to Bucky that isn't revealed here, but I'm not telling that juuuuust yet... evil grin

[up][up]I prefer Karate Kid.

  • Name: Doctor Sivana.
  • Real Name: Thaddeus Bodog Sivana Sr.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Age: 107.
  • Appearance: Curse you Perry the platypus!
  • Alignment: The world's wickedest scientist!
  • Personality: In a word; insane. In a few more; bitter, paranoid, petty, spiteful, raving, and just plain mean. Simultaneously possesses an immense ego, while also being insecure and envious, his jealousy of others driving him to amass wealth and power solely to use them against people he hates. He's also somewhat over the top in his mannerisms in a classically supervillainous kind of way, with the kind of staggering lack of self-awareness required to shake one's fist while shrieking "Curses! Foiled again!" without a hint of irony.
  • Powers and Abilities: None. However, he has an incredible genius-level intellect and a mastery of multiple disciplines of science and technology.
  • Weapons and Equipment: Assorted devices and machines of his own design. He is never without one or two pieces of superscience on his person: invented weapons, defenses, or other technology to compensate for his lack of physical strength.
  • Origin: I'll be going with the pre-crisis Golden Age backstory. Sivana started out with the best intentions and was seen as one of the world's finest scientific minds, with progressive scientific ideas that could revolutionize industry, but his increasingly outlandish inventions and theories led to the scientific community rejecting his ideas, and calling him mad. Laughed out of society by people who called his inventions impractical and his science a fake, Sivana took his family to the planet Venus in a spaceship he had invented, where he planned to stay until his children were grown, and Earth not as backward as when he left it. During his years away, Sivana turned bitter and vengeful, culminating in the death of his wife, which he blamed on the people who shunned him and by extension society itself. He returned to Earth and began planning his vengeance, running afoul of the Marvel family in Fawcett city repeatedly.

For super goofy stuff like that, Jump City is a better fit. You could get away with a lot more Golden age craziness than you will in Hub.

If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~
