Okay, so this one happened back in March, making this thread extremely belated, but I thought I'd bring it up anyway, since I'm not 100% sure which one's better.

Old (immediately before replacing):

New (after some revisions):

Why just make a love carving in a trunk when you can do it for the entire world to see?

They're both pretty good, but, well, replacing images without consensus warrants a thread, I believe, so here one is. Do we go back to "CHA", or stick with "レントン ♥ エウレカ"?

The Eureka 7 pic is of better quality, and it's always nice to see not-English-text examples that get the point across.

Eureka Seven has the more obvious and better visible deface. I'll motion to keep that one.

I still prefer the current, since the words in the old image (and in @4 for that matter) doesn't seem to mean anything, and it looks badly tacked on.

Yup, still Eureka Seven for me.

At the risk of going against the grain, I prefer the original, although obviously with the clearer version provided in post 4.

For the sake of a crowner, have a larger version of the Eureka image, too:

I have a very light preference to @16 over @4 because a) the moon occupies more space and b) the deface is more meaningful and larger.

I think the one from Eureka looks less like defacing and more like decorating.

[up] I see your point. The "CHA" makes me think of a vandal's graffiti in progress.
